Really enjoyed our stay at Douglas Fir! We were given a bus ticket for our stay which meant it was super easy to use the ROAM buses to get into and around Banff. Our room was dated but kitted out with everything we needed and the balcony was a nice bonus - we even saw a herd of elk passing by one evening!

It was a dated property but well maintained for the most part. The waterslides and hot tubs were excellent and the kids really enjoyed it! would stay again for sure!

The staff was very friendly, gave tickets for free bus rides. My grandson had so much fun and enjoyment of the water slides. The men enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. I woukd consider staying here again

The property is older, but the staff were friendly. It’s located in front of the bus stop to downtown. We were given complimentary bus passes by the staff.
