Lakefront Texas Manor
My 4 girlfriends left our husbands at home and traveled to Austin to celebrate a birthday for 5 nights. Our lovely Vrbo rental was in this grand, oversized, Texan-style, and eclectically decorated home. We each had our own large bedroom, comfortable bed, bathroom (2 shared a Jack-and-Jill bathroom) and a ton of indoor and outdoor sitting spaces. Dr. Jay communicated frequently and thoroughly with all the helpful house information that we needed. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the spacious kitchen as well as outside by the lake. We had a memorable stay at 3111 Ski Shores Terrace!

Great Spring Vacation
This house was amazing...beautiful interior and exterior. We used to live on Lake Austin and this vacation made us feel at home again! The views are amazing and there are so many places in house and on the beautifully landscaped back yard to enjoy morning coffee, happy hour and dinner! Enjoyed the dock, the pool and the hot tub! Not only was the house amazing, but Dr J was also a great host! I will be booking Dr. J's house again!

Wonderful property
Dr. Jay’s property was perfect for our reunion. There were plenty of comfortable beds, a wonderful kitchen and grill, privacy, and clear communication. The view from the pool was beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the water skiers and visiting the restaurant with great drinks just steps away. Overall wonderful and very grateful to have found this property with such a helpful owner. We hope to come back!

Amazing House & Location, Location!
You cannot beat this location, absolutely amazing spot on Lake Austin! The house is super clean, spacious and can’t beat the pool and hot tub facing the lake. It’s unbelievable. The yard slopes down near the lake and it’s a small beach. Very nice to walk into the lake. We had a boat and we’re able to pull up to the dock for east pick up and drop off. Steps away from Ski Shore Café (also amazing). Lastly, Jay’s communication was so appreciated. Anything we had a question on or local recommendations he was so quick to reply. I cannot recommend Jay’s place enough. A+++++

Terrific Property, Great Location & Outstanding Host
Property is situated in an excellent setting, either to kick back and relax or go out and enjoy the lake. It is an expensive house to rent though a good value for large homes on Lake Austin. "Dr. Jay" - the owner and host could not be more attentive or responsive to any requests, typically got back to us within minutes, whether day or night. We hav never experienced a more responsive host, and we have rented similar properties literally all over the world. A terrific property, a great location and an outstanding host, what's not to like? I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. If you are looking to host a large gathering on Lake Austin, this is the property.You will love it.

PERFECT!
We rented this beautiful property for our son and his groomsmen who haven’t seen each other since 2020. It was such an amazing property. Each room was exactly as shown on Vrbo. All the men said beds were comfortable. Pool and back yard couldn’t be more beautiful. It was the best hangout spot for all of them to enjoy. Dr. Jay was great at communicating with me. He made himself available at any hour if we had questions. It was simply PERFECT!

Beautiful Propery
This house is beautiful with a great spot on the lake. The little restaurant next door was good food and great drinks. They close a bit early so plan accordingly. Communication with the host was overly thourough and easy to check in and out of the home. Definitely recommend the stay! Bathrooms were stocked with towels and very clean. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and very clean. Great stay and will definitely be back again!

Fantastic Lake Austin Resort House
Fantastic property right on Lake Austin. Hosted 10 buddies for a fantasy football draft, and the house had everything we needed. All appliances, TV's, BBQ grill are top of the line. A nice surprise for this location was the Ski Shores Cafe, within walking distance, and a great lunch/happy hour venue where you can dock your boat. Dr. Jay was available at all hours to answer questions about the house. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Our Best Family Vacation too Date. Our Children and Grand Children enjoyed every aspect of this wonderful property. From the Great furnishings to the fabulous Art on the walls, this property checks all of the Boxes of a 5 Star Resort. To Top it off we were on the beautiful Sandy Shores of Lake Austin. The Property exceeded our expectations! The Home was Very Clean, Towels & Linens were spotless and the Owner treated us like Family ( The Family you want at your Thanksgiving Dinner) . The Owner is very detail orientated, answered all of our questions immediately and is one of the nicest people you would want as a friend or VRBO Host. Our group had the best time outside enjoying the pool, lake and eating outside on the patio. Another highlight was walking over to Ski Shores Cafe for lunch and drinks which was very delicious. Such a great house for a big group!
We had the best time staying at Dr. Jay’s property. The house was plenty big for 4 couples and 4 kids. I had very open communication with the owner from the moment of booking. He would answer any questions I had about the house within a couple of minutes. His response time is very impressive. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. We rented a boat for the week and was able to tie it up next to his dock which was lovely. We used the rooftop deck of the dock every evening to fish and hang out all together. We loved that the whole pool and spa were shaded to protect our babies from the very hot austin sun! We’re excited to return. Thanks for a fun week!

Highly recommended! For us, this was the perfect location. Close enough to Austin to get DoorDash from our favorite restaurants yet very private and secluded. Boathouse roof has the best view in all of Austin, both day and night. Jay went above and beyond to be helpful and responsive. We’ll definitely be back!

Labor Day Weekend 2021
Fantastic house and owner. This rental was for my wife's "50th" celebration with family and close friends. Great location, space and yard. Wish we had a boat with us but the pool and lake made up for it. Owner was very accommodative and responsive to all that we needed. Lots of shade for sun protection and the pool water was cool-refreshing. Highly recommend this house/location. Love to come back.

Amazing home, very nice owner, great stay
This house was amazing. Dr. J was so easy to deal with. This is his home, so he takes great care of it and just asks that his guests do the same. There are so many great places to hang out, and with 5 large bedrooms, it was great for our large group. The backyard is 5 stars all the way. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and being right on Lake Austin made for a perfect trip. It takes about 20 minutes to get to downtown Austin and about 20 minutes to the start of Lake Travis. If we are back in Austin, we would 100% stay here again.

We selected Austin and this property for our annual guys trip and were excited to stay here. From the moment we booked, the owner was extremely communicative, helpful and eager to make sure we had a great stay. The house was extremely clean and the check in was easy. The location on the lake was amazing and we had everything we needed. The only minor challenge was getting to the property. It is a good 10-15 minutes to the main road, leaving us at least 30-45 minutes from most of the places we were going. That being said, the extra drive was worth coming back to a dock house that had amazing views and a great setting to end the day. Would highly recommend staying here!

This was an excellent group. They took amazing care of my home. My home is at the end of a park and remote from the city. This gives guests ultimate privacy. Depending on traffic it is a 20-25 minute drive to downtown. It takes 6 minutes to get out of the park to the main road from my home. Many Restaurants and grocery stores etc are 8- 10 minutes away. This group played golf several times which I helped them arrange. The courses they selected were a longer drive to get to than more local ones. I assume this is what Mark is referring to regarding a longer drive. most guests tell me the seclusion and privacy is worth it. This was a great group and welcome back any time.

Lake Austin 3111 ski Shores Terrace.
We had a wonderful three nights on Lake Austin while staying at the home at 3111 ski Shores Terrace. Our family of 10 arrived to a beautiful well kept and most of all clean home right on the shores of Lake Austin. With plenty of room for all .The view out the back door was of and infinity pool , Beautiful landscaping and beach that went up right to the shores of the lake. Our host Dr Jay could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Our grandkids thanked us many times for the wonderful stay that they had. Looking forward to being back soon.

Great group. Communication between Patrick and myself was excellent. They took sterling care of my home, very appreciated. This was a family reunion. They were very gracious during their stay, especially in their compliments and comments about my home, the view, its location on the lake, how clean it was, etc. We were even able to get them in the house early!. Welcome back any time. P.S. Without traffic it is an approx 20 minute drive downtown. The traffic and time of day determines travel time.

The pictures and reviews do not do justice to this estate. It is simply amazing. The property is spectacular, no wonder this home is always booked! The interior of the home is incredible with top of the line furniture and stunning art, we loved the touch of Austin! Each room was meticulously clean. There was hand sanitizer at each sink. It was very obvious the owner went over the top to make sure the house was spotless. We especially loved the beds and bedding. So soft and comfortable. The feather pillows were heaven. We felt like we were at the ritz. We were able to use the large hot tub and pool extensively. Not to mention the view. STUNNING. We are beyond appreciative of the owner, he went out of his way to stay in communication with us and was always available for help and suggestions including but not limited to dinner reservations, entertainment as well as boat and jet ski rentals. All which were spectacular!! Our only regret was we can’t give it more than 5 stars. We will be back soon! Thank you so much for making my stay so wonderful for my friends and I.

50th birthday bash
The location and view are fabulous. The backyard and boat deck were wonderful for entertainment. The pool was not heated which was a bummer bc it was unusable at 63 degrees. The home’s interior had too many personal belongings in every room, it did not feel like a rental, we had to tip toe around all of the personal belongings. The rooms were great size and good for multiple families. The bed pillows were old and flat, and in need of replacement. The house did not seem very clean especially in light of current pandemic. If you intend to travel downtown consider renting a car bc Uber & Lyft were unreliable. The owner was helpful and responsive during our stay.

The pool is not heated nor is it indicated in the home description. Being this is Texas it is simply not necessary the majority of the year. However there is a large heated hot tub feet from the pool that these guests used frequently. This is my personal home. All personal belongings are stored away. There is no clutter or need for anything to be tip toed around. Each room is large and spacious as this guest pointed out. There is a combination of pillows in each room both feather and foam. The majority are feather as this is a personal preference and preferred by most guests. Feather pillows are by nature flatter than foam pillows. My home is always deep cleaned which I personally supervise. The challenge with these guests is they requested to get into the house 4 hours early to which we complied. This Caused my maid team to rush. Regardless the house was very clean as I am also a physician. This is important to me. Prior to these guests arrival I had strongly recommended they rent at least one car to which they declined. This caused them to use Uber and eventually rent a vehicle. My home is very private and located at the end of a park secluded. It is not located downtown. However downtown is easily accessed via a car.

Perfect Property!!!
This house was the perfect place for our group of friends and family. The home itself is incredibly safe, clean and useful. There are clear instructions on how to operate the home, as well as direct access to the owner at all times. The list of features this property has to offer is hard to pass up: plenty of space for everyone, really comfortable beds with very clean bathrooms, large kitchen and eating areas, direct access to Lake Austin via a serene beach entry, incredible views, beautiful pool and hot tub, outdoor fireplace with great seating, walking distance to the grill, one of the most vibrant and active saltwater aquariums I've ever seen, and the list goes on. We were extremely pleased with our stay, and would highly recommend this property to anyone searching for a turn-key home ready to entertain and relax! Thank you, Dr. Jay! Your home and hospitality are first class!

This home was perfect for our family vacation on the lake. My grandkids loved the sandy beach and watching the local swans. My adult kids loved the hot tub and 2 minute walk to Ski Shores for drinks. Beautiful house and property on Lake Austin
This property is beautiful inside and out! The house is big and roomy and very clean. We tried to spend every moment outside. The lake water is clear and lovely. The pool and the spa were delightful. The owner has lots of outside seating in the sun or shade. The owner was so easy to get ahold of and answered every question we had. We had a wonderful time.

Amazing Family Lake Getaway
This is an amazing home on one of the most beautiful lakes in the Texas Hill Country. Just far enough away to give you that remote all to yourself feeling but conveniently close to to town should you so desire but once you are there you won't want to leave. Graduation Celebration
This property is truly amazing. and the location is a short distance from downtown Austin. First of all it was super clean which is so important these days. The place was everything I wanted and more. Absolutely perfect for our family. The house was spacious with a beautiful pool, beach access to the lake, a great little sitting area outside under the trees with a grill. Dr. Jay, the owner checked in everyday to see if there was anything we needed. We will definitely come back. Thanks Dr. Jay for everything.

Katie and her family were excellent to have in my home. They took excellent care of the house and property. As you can see here Katies review was cut off half way through writing it. VRBO would not allow her to complete the review for some reason. So Katie asked me to complete it for her. She said “ The house is just beautiful, plenty of room for a large group. The direct lake access, sandy beach, pool, hot tub, large backyard, outside grill and decks to lay out on and socialize were all excellent. We highly recommend this property and will be back soon!” I highly recommend Katie to you and look forward to their return at anytime!

Great stay at this house! The pool, hot tub, grill, and lake front access was all used and enjoyed. Wonderful location and stay! Wish we could have stayed even longer.
