Old Rectory charming 19th Augères Creuse

House bought and restored to accommodate vacationers of short, medium or long stays who wish to enjoy the Creuse and its attractions, not being our main house, it is entirely dedicated to this effect!
Former presbytery in the heart of a small hamlet of the Creuse, which has kept its authenticity at its best with the comfort of today!Neat decor! Furniture and objects found in flea markets in the region.
House fully enclosed in a small garden of 'priest' as it should be!
Sunny terrace overlooking a greenery, where you can have meals, barbecue or simply stroll in a deckchair!


Very beautiful tourist area where the calm and the scenery is guaranteed!
Small village ideally located which allows either walks on foot, mountain bike, or horseback in the paths and forests, along the streams ...or drive to discover our rich heritage.
Many hiking circuits ballized. Possibility also of stages for the pilgrims of the way of Compostelle (way of Vezelay) to 10 kms
Road of the Impressionists with the site of Crozant and its circuit, very beautiful walk along the Creuse!
Discover the world capital of Aubusson tapestry and its riches.
Visit the many castles and churches. (Boussac, Villemonteix Montaigut white, Chantemille ....)
But also visit the scenovision Benevento Abbey where we discover that was the life of our canton, the last century!
Tour and ride with the little train at the site of the old mines From Bosmoreau.
Beach at Masmengeas pond about twenty minutes away. Organic pool in Marsac (15 min)
Visit the museum of war, its media, its cinemas, its amménagé lake with beaches and activities. Covered swimming pool, bouling, equestrian center, its giant labyrinth, its miniatute farm, its park with the wolves, and also its marked paths for VTT track And of course Gueret with its shops and tastings of specialties.

Excellent séjour dans le presbytère

A la découverte de la Creuse (Aubusson, Crozant, Saint-Léonard de Noblant, etc…). Presbytère bien situé et conforme à l'annonce. Spacieux. confortable. Bel espace pour séjourner à plusieurs. Accueil très agréable. A noter. La gare la plus proche : La Souterraine. Je recommande.

Magnifique séjour.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce jolie petit presbytère, au milieu d'une nature préservée par les propriétaires. Nous avons reçu un accueil très convivial ! Aux alentours de jolie coin pour les balades au calme. Une expérience très positive à réitérer.

Vive la Creuse, magnifique endroit à découvrir au plus vite !

Très belle maison dans un petit hameau de Creuse particulièrement charmant et vallonné tout près de la ville de Bénévent à visiter en premier puis pour découvrir aussi les baignades, les musées et le reste. Merci à nos hôtes exceptionnels ! Nous reviendrons avec joie !

Location de vacances rêvée

Superbe location, où tout a été prévu pour le confort des vacanciers. Très bien située, cette location est le point de départ de nombreuses randonnées, visites de villes et villages de la Creuse. Merci à Bernadette pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et pour les moments partagés ensemble.

Calme, confort et accueil

Un super séjour grâce à notre hôte Bernadette que nous remercions. Le calme et le confort agrémenté du chauffage au bois très agréable. Tout est présent pour se sentir bien dans ces lieux. Enfin, la confiance et l’accueil de Bernadette n’ont d’équivalent que le charme profond de ce presbytère.

Très bonne semaine

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cet ancien presbytère situé à Augères. Il est très bien équipé, propre et on s'y sent bien. La maison ne manque pas d'espace et chacun peut s'y sentir à l'aise. Le village est très calme et on rejoint les commodités relativement rapidement. Bernadette est une hôtesse charmante et attentionnée. De plus, elle connaît très bien sa région ce qui est appréciable lorsque vous avez besoin de conseils "sorties"

Excellent séjour

Bernadette est une hôte très accueillante et bienveillante. Beaucoup de charme dans ce presbytère décoré avec gout. L'environnement est calme et vraiment reposant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour que nous recommandons à tous ceux qui aime la nature et cherche la quiétude.

Un accueil extraordinaire

Un gite très bien entretenu et charmant, un agréable feu nous attendait dans le poêle à notre arrivée ainsi que quelques bouquets de fleurs et un apéritif dans le frigo. Bernadette et Christophe, ont été d'excellents conseils tout au long de notre séjour, avec une gentillesse et une disponibilité très grandes. Leur immense connaissance et leur amour pour la Creuse nous ont donné l'envie d'en découvrir plus. Nous les remercions encore.

Beautiful house

Absolutely beautiful house in a very quiet location surrounded by countryside. Bernadette was very welcoming. There was an extra charge for bedding, towels and cleaning which wasn't clear when booked. Also Bernadette asks for a 1000 euro deposit payable on arrival but we negotiated a lower deposit as we didn't have that much cash, which she was happy with. There were a lot of antiques around the house which were lovely to look at. To make the house perfect I would recommend another sofa in the lounge instead of the additional table and chairs. We visited Lac de Vassiviere, the lake at Gueret, the lake and bar just outside Sardent, a couple of markets - one in Bourganeuf and one in Gueret, Oradour sur Glane. An Indian take away van visits Auberge de Lac near Sardent on a Friday evening - the food was freshly cooked and delicious. We would like to return one day.

Maison spacieuse, confortable, rénovée avec goût ou rien ne manque.

Excellente adresse où nous avons passé quelques jours de repos dans une région propice au ressourcement. La maison est accueillante, autant que la région, les propriétaires sont plus que prévenants et confiants. De l'espace pour tout le monde, un poêle, du bois, une terrasse, un petit jardin....Plein de ballades pour tout le monde, entre marches locales et excursion au lac de Vassivière (autant pour le nautisme que pour le fond d'art contemporain), ballade à Aubusson et ses commerces typiques (et le musée des tapisseries), une toile au magnifique cinéma de Bourganeuf.... Bref, vous l'avez compris, on a aimé le gîte et la région.
