The hotel is located right in the city centre. William, the host is friendly and helpful But no lift in the hotel, gotta carry luggage up to the room 😅

Location good, reception felt erratic. Air con could not keep room cool. Breakfast was late (expecting 730) and the hotel knew that breakfast was late , because the coffee machine was broken and the hotel had to rely on cafe next door who opened at 8am

On you own as a guest
The front desk hours are stated to be 0730-2100 but when I arrived shortly after 1900 hrs the hotel was in total darkness. I fortunately had been able to receive an email sent that morning giving directions as to what to after hours, but I wasn't anticipating that this would be "after hours" and I was fortunate to have got the email and had access to the info. So, getting in, during pretty normal hours, was an issue. Worse though, the somewhat complicated process used by the hotel for wifi access, with different passwords for each guest, did not work, with several attempted variants returning a "not recognised" message. The one other guest whom I encountered had problems with their wifi too. Of course there was no one around to assist, and even venturing down the stairs to the lobby had to be done in the dark as there was no switch at the top of the stairs. Decidedly unsafe. Location, room etc all were fine, but I paid for essential wifi access and when I pointed out upon checkout that it didn't work, was met only with a shoulder shrug. This offset the hotel's positives, unfortunately.
