"This was a great place for our family of 5 to stay at while we were here for a track event. Very close to an Amish town and Champaign, IL wasn’t too far away too. The room felt humid at times but otherwise we loved it and would stay again!"

"WOW! Great place! Nice little home that has been totally re-done. Still smells like new! Has everything you would want as they make a great effort to supply what is needed for a comfortable stay. Absolutely NO reason to stay in a hotel in Charleston/Mattoon area with this gem! Will return!"

May 6, 2019Southern Illinois is interesting. Lots of farms and very rural. Lots of Dairy Queens lol a plus, in my opinion. But overall, felt intense. A lot of white people staring and not in a friendly or even curious way. Felt watched and judged.
