This is a ski Lodge so the rooms are geared to skiers. The views from the lodge are beautiful. We ate at both restaurants and they were both good. We took the ski lift up to the top and that was nice, pricey but nice. I dont suggest staying here if you are going to the Tetons, the mountain road to get to the Lodge is quite the ride.

Staff was good! Location , unless you are an avid hiker or mountain biker, is way removed from anything else. Room was out dated. Pool and hot tub area was very nice! Fun trip up on the ski lift for a nice, but challenging hike.

Our room was adequate, no frills.The floors above us squeaked when people walked across the room. No a/c so it was a little uncomfortable at times.

This venue is fantastic. We rode the lift twice and the views were outstanding. We are 81 and 77 and the location was easy to navigate. Every one is friendly and helpful. The food was great and the room was very comfortable. THANK-YOU!!😀

Check in person and manager was cold and unfriendly. Their website said that if you stayed at least 2 nights mid week you would receive a $50 food coupon. We were told they never heard about it. The sign on the back of the bathroom door stated that new towels and garbage emptied would happen every day. When we called about it we were told you had to give them a 24 hour notice for any room service.

The staff was incredibly friendly and had lots of tips for local things to do in the area, however it would have been nice to know the on-site bar was going to be blasting music til 2am on Saturday a stones throw from my room. I had an alarm set for 3am to go catch sunrise, but was kept up most of the night from the noise and flashing lights.

My daughter and I stayed here while traveling in Wyoming. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. The staff in the cafe were also helpful. The accommodation was less than expected for the price. There was no AC. It was extremely loud, with slamming doors and the wooden floors (walkway and stairs). The ventilation was opening the window. After the first day that was not enjoyable due to the traffic feet away and ALL the dust - inside the room. Everything was covered in dust. In 5 days housekeeping never came to the room; therefore no cleaning, no new towels. If this was something that had to be asked for that wasn’t explained upon check-in. This wasn’t a good fit for us and we would not choose this stay again.

Pay the extra $$ and stay at a better place. We were in a very old ‘70’s style room with a LOT of previous damage repairs! (I.e., put a brass kick plate on the bathroom door where someone broke the door.). The walls and floors were paper thin, thus noisy. The area is absolutely beautiful, the lodge needs work.

This is a ski resort, so it's self sufficient. There are two restaurants on site, a small convenience store, and an apparell shop. For more shopping/dining options, the resort offers a free shuttle several times a day to the little town at the base of the mountain.

Awesome staff!
The staff was amazingly from the front desk to the medical team. My boyfriend couldnt breathe i called the front desk & the medical team was to our room in 2 mins. He has 5 blood clots in his lungs. He is now at Teton Valley hospital. Thank you all for such quick response & being so helpful!

The people here were great, very accommodating and knowledgeable staff. The scenery was beautiful and there were a variety of activities and trails to hike. The restaurants available were nice, though the prices were high. As for the bad… the card key didn’t work half of the time. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable (we sleep on a firm mattress at home, so that’s saying something) the pillows were little flat rocks, the water in the shower vacillated between scalding and lukewarm, and the rooms had a joining door. Which was fine until we got neighbors. Loud, early bird neighbors. The stay was.. alright. But we won’t be coming back.

Our room was comfortable and clean. The weather was nice and cool,. which was great since the room did not have air conditioning. But they do have a fan and the window opens. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and great hiking trails.

The resort was a bit rustic and we had no air conditioning but the staff was very helpful in providing a fan and anything else we needed. The air was fresh and the scenery gorgeous. The pool was closed for reconstruction but the assay center, kids jumper and mountain bike riding were fun activities for guests.

We loved this property. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean, and bed was comfortable. Great view from the room as well. The ski lift to the top to hike down the mountain was great. Plenty to do if traveling with a family. Restaurants on grounds and general store as well. The only thing I would have liked was a small fridge in the room for items we brought with us. If you love spending time outdoors this is the place for you.

We didn’t expect the room to be a complete no frills room but the Targhee Lodge is very utilitarian for skiers/snow users. It’s fine enough to rest your head, and we were happy that I had a strong shower flow.

I suggest looking into booking in our Teewinot or Sioux Lodge buildings on your next visit, as I believe those are mores suited for what you are looking for.

Unique location in the mountains. Lodge was old but nicely maintained. No A/C, open windows for mountain air. Accommodations are not fancy but given it is a ski resort, most people will not be in the room for long.

Staff was friendly, pretty much everything in room showed lots of wear and was dated. Just be aware there is no AC, mini frige or microwave. If you consider this the room really wasn’t a great deal. The property was nice and pretty well maintained.
