The hotel was good, we were fine the first 2 days until they put a family on the above floor to our room. The children were running around screaming shouting at 3am, parents were rude to the receptionists, they were not listening and running wild. This continued for the rest of my stay. I was on less than 3hours sleep. However, I made a complaint to the hotel management who was not supportive at all and his answer was it is a business hotel and we cannot do anything except warn them of the noise. I also requested if they would move my room, which they were unable to do so. The receptionist mentioned that the manager will compensate me for the nights I have not slept but that never happened. I was very disappointed how this was handled as I had high expectations from the hotel. As the manger mentioned it was a business hotel, I believe if it was a business hotel then it should have been used for business purposes and not allow children run wild at 3am, when they have other customers who have gone there to have a break and relax.

Great and Wonderful Experience
It was an amazing experience . Hotel location and the great aroma that you will smell once you entered hotel and your room truly amazing. I am really impressed by the aroma and looking to have it at my home including the one related to gel cleansing and shower gel Hotel location is almost in the middle of the hot shopping area which will save you a lot of money for transportation. The only concern is related to breakfast price which is consider too high for a family that looking for a family gathering breakfast.

The hotel room itself is great. Some members of the staff were not friendly at all. The hotel has insufficient/wrong info on their advertisement. They haven’t included that you pay €10 per day for parking. And I was told they do not accept any size dog. I arrived with my two small dogs and they said they charge €15 per pet, whereas their advertisement says €15 per accommodation. I was helped by a very sweet young lady to resolve the issue. Not all of the staff were as helpful or polite sadly enough.

Thanks for taking the time to post your comments. We have had a bit of a training session with our staff over how to react with all our guests. The information you were using comes from a 3rd party website and not from ours...It's always better to contact the hotel beforehand when you are bringing animals just to check what the policies are. The same for parking...check first directly with the hotel to make sure you have the latest and correct information

Superb!
Absolute gem of a hotel! Easy on site parking, a very warm welcome, comfortable modern rooms with a/c, good shower, spotlessly clean and in a quiet area. I didn't have breakfast as I had to leave very early but I'm sure it would have been excellent! Literally can't fault the place!

Dear We had a nice chat at check out. You confirmed the room was unique and superb. However you paid 100 euro deposit for not smoking, and yet you did. When confirmed, you said to come back but did not want to settle the remaining 100 euro for smoking as smoking is a supplement of 200 euro per day, mentioned everywhere and told at check in. It is a pitty clients as yourslef can give a 2 on 10 just because you could not smoke in your room. It is unfair, knowing you were so content at check in just before we confronted you with the evidence of smoking.

Lift is only available in one of 2 blocks
Very convenient location, within walkable distance to shopping area. We were assigned to the adjacent lower block where no lift or elevator available. Have to carry our luggage to one floor up by stairs. For those who need to use the lift, must communicate with the hotel that you have to stay in the higher block where lift is available.

Good location, comfortable sleep and clean!
We traveled for a short trip. Our stay in Aalst allowed our travels to Brussels and Gent conveniently. Location of the hotel is closely to the train station, about a 5min walk. The hotels seems newly renovated, and it is really nice and clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable too. Nice large showers large bathroom. No complaints. We ended up paying for their breakfast, since it was convenient and nothing really interesting nearby for breakfast. The scrambled egg on our first morning seemed really stale and old. The second morning was really fresh. So maybe a hit/miss. But overall food was pretty good. Still though, I felt 19 euro per person for breakfast (some toast, egg, bacon, cereal, yogurt) felt overpriced.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's comfortable, quiet, spacious, clean, and in an excellent location, walking distance from train, city center, and major attractions. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We did not take the breakfast because we felt it was a bit pricey, but we heard from others that it was excellent, and very generous. There is a small rooftop gym with a limited number of machines. Some construction is still going on; we did not notice anything of it while we were there, but that may be due to the typical vacation time for construction workers in August in Belgium. We will certainly stay there again.

New hotel close to centre of town
One-night stay - room ok though a couple of niggles which may be because the hotel is new (eg. bathroom tap dispensed no cold water - only hot and very hot). Breakfast is extortionate for what is provided (mentioned at checkout) - the limited hot food looked as though it had been there for hours. Better to walk 5 mins into town and go to a cafe.

Great stay. Right in the centre of Aalst in walking distance of the Grand Markt and Hopmarkt. Really friendly staff, comfortable room and brilliant shower. Parking costs 10 euros a day which I think is a bit much but will still stay here again

Clean, efficient, and friendly service.
I recieved a friendly and quick welcome from this property. The rooms are clean and simple but all the right things work (A/C, hot water showers, etc.) . The building was basically new. The reception recommended an excellent and charming restaurant "Allergro Ma Non Troppo" just a minute away. The hotel is easily walkable from the train station. All and all, an efficient stay.

Very nice hotel in the middle of all the craziness
beautiful hotel. Slightly hard to find, but clean and brand new. Staff is excellent. Rooms a very nice. Bathrooms are awesome. Tough to figure out the electrical/lighting systems, but not a real issue.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the village of Aalst, very close to the train station and the main central market. Rooms are clean and the hotel has a very cozy atmosphere to it. I did have an issue with the wifi at my room, because as soon as I closed the door the internet connection would be lost.

Convenient hotel near Brussels
Good 4* hotel, very new. There is building in front of it but didn't disturb me. No a great view. bedrooms are new, clean and functional, not very warm or cosy but I guess this was not intended in the design. Breakfast was very average for a high price tag I thought.

Easily the best in Aalst
The pros: - amazing location - brand new - modern and good amenities in the room - very pleasant staff The cons: - it's still new so they are probably working out a few kinks in terms of a few minor things slipping by housekeeping - they are working on an extension so construction noises - breakfast is very expensive for what you get Hot tip: close the windows AND the vents at the top or wake up too dozen mosquito bites. Overall it was excellent. We will be back - especially considering that the only other hotel in Aalst could compare is terrible in comparison.

It was a very busy area.Almost impossible to park nearby and it was a pay and diplay type of parking maximim stay for 2 hours.The hotel was is a little court so it was quite.There was an unplesant surprise behind the curtain.We found a dirty a sock left behind.How did they do the cleaning????

Decent business hotel in Aalst at last
Having stayed in the town on two other occasions at other "hotels" I was disappointed by the quality of rooms available. The Tower hotel is only one month old and that means everything is new. The building is modern, the rooms are stylishly furnished, wifi is excellent and the breakfast room at the top of the building affords a fantastic view of the entire town. All the staff were very friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I do business in the area.
