Clean, Cozy, and Comfortable
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very simple and nice. The room was also clean, cozy, comfortable, and quiet.The view was fantastic. There are very few dining options in town but 5 minutes down the road there are several options. I would stay here again.

Property has a nice view of the lake. Not many eating options nearby. You need to travel to Kernville. Needs some paint and touchups but the property is fine.

Great management
Had an issue with leaving a day early, and getting a revised folio and reimbursement for one night. Tried calling all day into the evening no answer. Finally Friday I called and the manager answered and she had already compensated me the two nights I stayed. I said that wasn’t necessary she insisted because that’s how she does business. She said she would speak to the employees so it doesn’t happen again. That’s awesome service.

2nd Stay
Not too many places in Wofford Heights to stay but this is our 2nd time here and have no complaints. Room is small but expected and everything worked and was clean so no complaints. You can see the lake from there and easy access from the main road. There is really no night life so once the sun goes down there's hardly any traffic so stays really quiet.

Expedia has also apologized for this mistake as it was made on their side. You were very, very rude to the staff and we tried everything to help you. Including offering you another room. Being dishonest in a review is very harmful as I am sure you are very aware of, which is why you decided to do it. Thanks, We're glad to know offering another room (a bigger room, wasn't good enough for you.) Apologies.

The property was super clean and cozy. Easy to get to and close to Lake Isabella as well as some great shopping in Kernville and Silver City Ghost Town. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Bed was comfy. No complaints.

Clean, wonderful view of the lake and mountains. It was better than I had expected for the price. My only complaint was that the shampoo bottle fixed to the shower was empty. I could have asked for shampoos but I didn’t bother since I had my own. I’d stay here again.

Omgosh the staff were so Awesome! I had my granddaughter with me for 2 days. Unfortunately, I guess I had contacted Covid in Ventura before coming. The lady in the office was so helpful. She told me if I needed anything just to let her now and she would bring it to me. I ended up adding another night to my stay five nights total, the best little motel I’ve been in in a long time.

Wofford Rest
Quiet little get away - perfect place to stage our discovery of the Kern River area and Lake Isabella. Very low key - perfect for our pet. We really liked our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stay here every year and we are always happy with it. It's simple, small, pet friendly, air conditioning runs very cold. Very inexpensive and several different room configurations. we will continue to stay here every year.

Aside from some non-Eco-friendly maintenance issues, great view, great communication, reasonably priced, clean, cute and comfortable. Water faucets in shower stripped (wasting water) and sink faucets have a hot/cold backwards feed.

Hi Rhonda, Sorry about the water issue, it's very tedious as they seem to strip all the time with the amount of guests we have regardless of which quality supplies we buy. We recently redid the inside of that shower faucet so all is well now. I checked the sink faucets and I did not encounter hot/cold on wrong side. Unsure what went there but everything is coming out where it should. Apologies for that strange situation you had. We hope if you stay with us again you will not encounter these issues. This charming little motel is very clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed coming back to my cozy room to unwind after long hiking days. I will stay here again when I return to Lake Isabella!
