The young man at the desk was very polite and kind. He gave us complimentary cookies at check in. And the handle on my door has to be pulled and turned at the same time and I couldn’t get in and he calmly came up and showed me the trick to opening the door. But the handle probably shouldn’t have a trick… and there’s no caulking in the shower. But clean and nice.

Staff was very nice to deal with. Place fair condition for a small hotel. The pool is closed. Its May 18 2024 , it was one reason i booked this place and no were did it say the pool is closed for the season

For the price this property is a one star motel. Most motels with small rooms and a very poor breakfast cost under $100, but this room cost $230. The area around the motel is very loud (especially at night) and there really is nothing special about the motel. For the same price I had a suite at other hotels (with separate bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen) but not here. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Basic accommodations, very clean and well maintained. Reasonably comfortable bed . Water is crazy hot from the tap be careful easy to scald yourself

Property wasn’t what was portrayed. Room was ok but was noisy and there wasn’t a plug for the bathtub to have a bath. They weren’t very organized at the front desk as well also wasn’t the breakfast I was expecting

Looked clean but their was a bad smell to the building…to include the office…lots of racing on main road…noisy through the night…the carpet was very old and dirty. The beds were comfortable…I just was never at ease with the cleanliness…on the surface appeared clean but the smell and carpet was bad.

No hot water in either the shower or the sink. Extremely loud heating system that woke me up every 15 minutes. It was cheap and there was good French roast coffee in the morning but Howard Johnsons is now at the end of the Z list.

There was people yelling in the parking lot all night cars starting and revving engines speeding out of parking lot sounding like a party in the rooms below maybe got 2 hours of sleep all night

Confused as to why?
At check in I had to get my husband‘s ID and I had never heard of that. The room was in my name I had my ID I had my credit card, but I had to go out to the car and wake him up to get his ID. I asked the agent why And we need to know what his name is I said what does that have to do with? I said I could have anybody come in with me. I never heard of this before. I will not stay there again! He seems so concerned on the number of guests in my room, and I said there was only two as when I registered.

I booked and paid for my room in advance, but when I arrived to check in I had to submit another deposit for the room. If I did not have enough money in my bank for this refundable deposit then my room would have been cancelled right then, even though I had already paid for my room. I do not remember seeing this anywhere in the booking information when I planned this trip. It was very unexpected and felt like a breach of contract since I didn't agree to this deposit at the time when I was purchasing the room. I did have barely enough money in my bank account, so it worked out this time. But I will be asking about this with any future bookings.
