スタッフの対応もよかったです。

ホテルの前まで車で行くことはできません。行き方が分からなかったため、途中で電話しましたが、親切に教えてくれました。 You cannot go until in front of the hotel. I didn't know how to get there. I called the hotel staff. He explained it kindly.

夜は道に迷いますなんとか旧市街中に入りましたが、暗くてよく見えませんでした。ただ、1度分かればすごくわかりやすい道です。私の時は、ホテルのボーイさんが探しにきてくださっていて、ホテルまで連れて行ってくださいました。

遺跡の中の快適なホテル

ホテルの場所がディオクレティアヌス宮殿の前庭の中で、建物は遺跡の一部を利用して作られており、城壁に囲まれた旧市内のどこへでも歩いて5，6分です。予約したときは別棟（アネックス）だったのですが、シーズンオフでのせいか、アップグレードしてくれていて、本館に泊まれました。部屋数は多くないぶん、こじんまりしていて、部屋はモダンで、清潔で、快適でした。スタッフもとても親切、朝食もおいしく、本当に満足できる　ホテルでした。旅行者は空路でも陸路でも、スプリットの城壁の外にある長距離バスターミナルがスプリット到着の基点だと思いますが、少々距離があるうえ、旧市内に入るとわかりにくく、我々は、ホテルにたどり着くまで、少々まごつきました。到着後レセプションの人が「連絡をくれれば向かいに行きましたのに」と言ってくれて、帰り（チェックアウト時）は、車でおくってくれました。泊まる方は、ぜひ、事前に連絡するよう、お勧めします。スプリットの城壁の外に近代的なホテルは多くありますが、旧市街の遺跡の中に泊まる経験はとても貴重です。スプリットにいらっしゃるなら本館はほんとうにおすすめです。

ステキなホテルでした

スプリットのど真ん中で、まさかこんな場所にホテルが？という感じでした。スタッフも親切ですし、部屋もローマ時代の壁を一部使用していて、２０００年前に思いをはせながら、それでいてどこかスタイリッシュで、本当に素敵なホテルでした。朝食も美味しかったです。次回も絶対ここにします。

Dissappointment and slight satisfaction.

We have expected to stay in the old and traditional hotel inside the Dioklecijanova Palace. However, unfortunately and enexpectedly, our assigned room was in a separate small Annex located outside the Dioklecijanova Palace wall by about 5 minutes walk from the main hotel. The interior was simple and breakfast was also simple. We felt this treatment is unfair. One thing we can appreciate is that they have kindly provided courtesy electric car drive from the hotel to the nearby train station in the morning for our departute.

スタッフの方々がとてもフレンドリー、お部屋はメゾネットタイプにグレードアップしてくださり、とても清潔で素敵でした。入口が宮殿の中(?)なので分かりにくかったですが、その場所だからこそ静かな雰囲気に浸れてよかったです。

特に問題はなかったのですが、宿泊代金とは見合わないと思います。本館と別館両方宿泊経験がありますが、本館と別館は、建物が違うだけではなくサービスがまったく違います。本館は水（炭酸水）１本、チョコレートなどが部屋にホテルからサービスとしてありましたが、別館にはなく、アメニティの補充もありませんでした。朝食の内容もまったく違います。本館で食べることもできますが、かなり距離があるので、急ぎの時などは別館で済まさざるを得ず。その旨、きちんと記載しておくべきだと思います。今の表記では、建物以外は同等のサービスを受けられると予約客は思い込むと思います。シティタックス以外に保険代（インシュアランスと説明されました）として１日あたり１０クーナ、精算時に請求されました。これも事前に説明するべきです。部屋はバスタブつきの部屋は殆どないようです。レストランも朝食以外はやっていませんでした。それで観光のハイシーズンではなく１泊１名２万円は現地の物価を考えると、設備と見合わない値段と判断しました。

You did reserve a room for 3 nights, but also you did 3 separate reservations and only 1 st night was for the room at the hotel and unfortunately we were not able to upgrade you as all rooms at the hotel were booked. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with bathroom, breakfast and rate, but this is described and clearly noted in the room description. Breakfast in villa is continental but all our guests can choose where they would like to have breakfast. Restaurant in hotel is opened for breakfast and dinner. We wish you have informed us that you will not have time to go to the hotel, and we would check if you wanted to have for breakfast something that is not usually part of our continental breakfast and would provide it. 快適なプチホテル

スプリットの旧市街にある小さなホテルです。スタンダードシングルを予約したのですが、アップグレードして頂けて、スーペリアに３泊しました。古い建物を最新の設備でリノベーションしてありまして、部屋はそれほど広くないぇれども快適に過ごせました。古い建物ですから、お風呂のお湯なんてちゃんと出るのかなーと心配してましたが、全く問題ありませんでした（その後泊まったドブログニクの某５星ホテルよりもずっと良かったです）朝食もとても美味しくて内容も充実していました。併設のレストランではディナーも頂いたのですが、ソムリエの資格を持つ店員さんに相談しながらワインや食事を決めるのも楽しく、食事もスプリトの街で一番美味しかったです。お値段もリーズナブルでした。クロアチアに行くことがあれば、このホテルに泊まるためにまたスプリトに行きたいです。

とても印象的なホテルです

7部屋しか無いプチホテルの1号室に泊まりました。1号室は残念ながら部屋に遺跡の壁の石垣はありませんでした。ただ2つある窓のうち一つが前庭に通じる道に面していて、外から見ると部屋・建物が遺跡の一部に見えます。クラパが始まると、窓を開けるとちょうどアカペラで歌っている人たちが部屋から見えます。おそらく前庭が見えるのは1号室と上の部屋だけだと思います。 7部屋しか無いので、スタッフの対応もとてもフレンドリーです。スプリットの良い思いでになるホテルです。

Magnificent!

We had a spectacular stay at the Vestibule Palace hotel. Imagine coming into a hotel through a 1720 year old entrance. Truly an unmatched experience. The service wonderful, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast setting and food excellent. The attention to detail, unmatched.

Es war rundum ein traumhafter Aufenthalt - mitten im Diocletianpalast zu schlafen ist einzigartig. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam, äußerst zuvorkommend und im positivsten Sinne bemüht. Das Frühstücksbüffet war klein und fein - wunderbar. Die Juniorsuite war liebevoll eingerichtet, perfekt klimatisiert und äußerst Komfort. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Absolut TOP!

This place was amazing! The history of it's location is mind blowing. Transportation is easy, the bus station is right down the road as well as taxi service all day. I didn't fly into Split but I did see an airport shuttle. The customer service was above and beyond as well! They made me feel very welcomed and the stay that much more enjoyable. I expected a lot out of my trip and it was better than I could have expected. I will most definitely be back! Thank you to everyone that made it possible!

Awesome Hotel Within Castle Walls

Wonderful property ideally located inside the castle walls. Room was spotless and very comfortable with an incredible breakfast included each day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed exploring the city from this location as well as used it as a base for a number of day trips. If you plan to have a car, be sure to contact the hotel ahead of time to arrange for parking, since the hotel is in a pedestrian only area. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The location within the palace was excellent. It may be a bit difficult to get too, but call before arrival, and the staff will meet you on the street outside of he palace, to escort you and assist with bags. Was a fantastic place, and I will return.

Love Split

We were staying in the annex to this hotel - Villa Dobrić, which is a duplex. There are a lot of steps between the main hotel and the villa including steps up to the duplex and once inside to the top floor (no lift). The rooms were a little tired. There is no tea/coffee facility therefore having to go to main hotel for refreshments/breakfast (no morning tea!!!). Further stairs to the bedroom, bed was very comfortable, however due to sloping ceiling and beams you could not sit up in bed and had to crawl into the bed - not good for anyone with limited movement.

Dear Veronica,thank You for Your kind review.You are correct. There is no lift/elevator. The reason for that are strict regulations regarding construction in the old town. Diocletian Palace and most of the old town (where both hotel and villa are located) has been protected by UNESCO since 1979. Regarding morning tea, we had pointed out to You upon check in that we treat all of our guests equally, regardless which building they are staying in. We could had brought You tea, coffee or other beverages during breakfast hours, from 7 to 10 every morning, You just needed to call us or text us. Ideal location in Split

The Hotel Vestibule Palace is very well situated within the palace walls and has everything around it. The staff was amazing and the renovated hotel is wonderful, yet small. They changed me to their sister location, Villa Dobric, which is 250m away. The room I got was very basic, but clean and nice. I highly recommend.
