What will you whip up in the kitchen tonight? Walk into the beautiful garden in the morning with a steaming cup of coffee in hand and sniff the purple blossoms of the lilac tree. Enjoy long, balmy summer evenings on the open terrace. Here you have everything close by: The beautiful sea, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, good fishing and the cozy town life in medieval Simrishamn with romantic hollyhocks.
Hike in the Bäckhalladalen nature reserve, visit the Ystad Animal Park and follow the Skåneleden hiking trail along the coast to the north. The coastline between Haväng and Vitemölla is characterized by long, fine-sand beaches with vegetation that reaches the water's edge in many places. Take trips to the old fishing village of Kåseberga, visit the stones of Ale, Dag Hammarskölds Backåkra farm, the medieval castle Glimmingehus and Tosselilla Sommerland. At Kåsebergaodlingen in Löderup you can pick and buy vegetables and strawberries. Stroll through the apple orchards in Kivik and experience the famous apple market in September.
