The first room they assigned smelled strongly of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The next room they assigned me had a dirty bathroom. I decided to find a different place to stay.

The ac in our room did not work……..we checked in at 9:30 pm and couldn’t take the heat in the room and left it was much fresher air outside than the room. When we opened the window to let some air in we realized we didn’t feel safe since the window had no net cover someone really could’ve just walk up and go through the window……it’s little things that should be functioning. When we checked out and I said something about the Ac the response I got was “okay” I would give this hotel a 0 if I could. Hopefully they follow through with the work order and fix the ac for the next people who stay.

Had to request a new room due to dog smell. and barking next door. New unit had the door kicked in and not repaired, couldn’t lock properly the door stop was completely broken and unusable. Bed had blood stain and towels were dirty. Bathroom door had breaks in the door like someone was punching it and scratch marks in the door frame. Felt like there was something bad that happened in the room. Overall condition of room was very unsanitary took photos of room to submit. Would like to discuss further as far as advertising and photos of the hotel that are put on the website.

I spent hours looking at hotels in Sac and settled on this one due to it having space in the room for my kids toddler bed, and it appeared clean, like all hotel pics do. From the exterior, it looks really nice and it's a really nice, quiet area. Plenty of space to park. We get to our room though, and instantly smelled cig smoke. lked further into the room and smelled rotten food... that acidic smell of rotten fruit. The smell did not go away. In fact, it impacted my ability to sleep pretty bad. On top of that, and the fact the curtains do not block out all the night lights at all. Besides that, the room was very very dirty. Counters were not wiped down, there was visible trash behind and under furniture, and in corners. The carpeted and vinyl foors were all sticky, damp and the carpet smelled like dog pee. Furniture was chewed on by a dog. There was hair on the blow dryer, showing that wasn't cleaned either. The TV captioning didn't work at all, which was a bummer, being I'm heairing impaired, so i couldn't watch anything. They advertise free internet, except the "free" part didn't work, and they want you to pay $5/day to use working internet. The grab n go breakfast was hilarious, and there was no premade coffee available at 9am, and the muffins were gross. Only positive is that it appeared the bed sheets and towels were clean and there were no bed bugs. The bed was on the firm side, which was actually fine by us. Overall, one of the worst hotel rooms i have ever stayed in.

I didn’t like that the receptionist was having consistent lunch breaks and didn’t want to attend any of us that needed help. She messed up our rooms and told us to leave till her lunch was over so we can check in. More stuff but short story service was horrible!

The stay was terrible. We got there at about 6 pm . We waited in the lobby when we knocked on a door for service a voice let us know she was on lunch and we would have to wait. We left to pick up food and drinks. Came back 45 minutes later and still no one helped . When she finally came to the front there was 6 guests now waiting with issues or to checkin . She had a really bad attitude and was not helpful with anyone . Our room did not seem as though it was clean . The pull out sofa was dirty . The mattress had dirty and crumbs under the mattress was worse. I cleaned it as best I could. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The microwave didn’t work. The toilet paper dispenser was broken . We needed sheets and a blanket for the pull out sofa . Again we went to the front the same young lady was rude and told us to go back to our room they would be brought to us. They never came . I went to the local Walmart to buy my own sheets and blankets for my kids . I tried to call corporate but they only are open regular business days and hours . Never will I stay there again.

The overall appearance of the property was dirty and felt like a junkyard for old cars. Stairways were filled with dirt, cobwebs, cigarette butts and smelled horribly of urine. Certain new staff members were poorly trained in customer care and how to speak with people in general. Certain staff members looked tacky and non professional. I would never intentionally stay at this South Natomas location again.

There was a 100 deposit, but only half the power in my room worked upon entry. The rest of the power went out before check out. The customer service is HORRIBLE and i STILL have not received my deposit back! No light bulbs in the bedlamps, used tissue paper provided, durty, sticky table counter and chairs.

The room, the grounds, parking lot were dirty. It was so uncomfortable that I didn't even stay for one night. I checked on within 20 minutes and found another place to stay. CLEAN THE PLACE UP!!!!!
