Comfort on a budget
Nicely situated- quiet area yet still conveniently close to key tourist sites. Trendy hostel with modern furnishings. Rooms surprisingly spacious for a hostel. Great for a solo traveller wanting comfort on a budget

Nice quiet location. Liked that they provided towels for everyone in room and they were swapped out for new ones after 2 days (towels were different colors so no mixups). Each room had own bathroom. Kitchen area is small but wasn't issue for me. And there's no place to stow/lock up your luggage before/after check-in in case thats an issue for you

I wouldn`t come back. The room is ok, but I couldn`t stand the fact that they gave me a towel that smelled horrible. They have a washing machine (you still have to pay for it) but they dont have a drier so if you have a lot of clothes to wash you can`t really dry them out cause there is not a place to do it so. I stayed for many days and they never changed sheets or anything. They dont have 24 hours reception, and at the check in they charged me more money even though I had everything payed and booked online in advance.

I am sorry about your complain to pay more, unfortunatly in Rome you have to pay the city tax that is some amount apart of 3,50 as reported on your booking, so next time read a bit carefully when you book somewhere, also the booking page says about not 24hr reception, if i am wrong i will try to contact expedia, maybe they miss it.

OK to stay a night
I have booked for 3 days but stayed for 1 night only. The stuff was friendly. The hostel has good kitchen where you can cook and a washing machine which you can use (it seemed like that) for a payment. Humidity in the room i stayed was pretty high - i felt like my bed was half-wet and it got pretty cold at night (no heater in the room). I would rate the hostel as ok for such price - location - conditions.

Great stay
It was a really great hostel that was only a short walk away from the Vatican. It had a very unique feel to it as well as very friendly staff as well as a TV and PS3 for guest use

Place is quite ordinary, but considering that ir is meant to be a cheapish place for backpackers to shack up, is acceptable. Very expensive for a cheapish place. The wi-fi is painfully pathetic, as it seems to be in so many of these establishments. Why?

Hostel room was spacious and air conditioned. Good location between Rome and the Vatigan, easy walking distance. Basic kitchen but functional, but shower was cold. A quiet and friendly atmosphere, good for a short stay and family friendly. We enjoyed the decor!

Nice guesthouse close to Metro
Staff was friendly with many food options very close. near the Metro. Smaller rooms with a balcony. Common area incl kitchen, washer, and dryer. Bring your own soap and shampoo. TV and DVD player in the room w DVD's available. One of a kind decor. Very happy with the guesthouse.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Great staff, located right next to a metro station, and attractions such as the Vatican and Piazza del Popolo are within walking distance. My flight was delayed on arrival, meaning that I was unable to arrive until 1.30am, but I was still able to call one of the receptionists to gain access to the hostel. My room benefited from daily cleaning and a balcony with a view of Viale Giulio Cesare. Free food and drink was available in the kitchen, Sky TV in the lounge, and the comics-themed design throuout the hostel was interesting and innovative! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hostel to all travellers visiting Rome.

Truly love this hotel! Stayed for 5 nights, like their cartoon themed room and the rooms are very well kept and clean. Great price for such nice stay! Very conveniently located just 2 mins walk from metro station. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the staff is helpful too

Met and exceeded expectations
This hostel met and exceeded expectations. The hostel was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Its in a great location too, just a few hundred feet from a metro stop. The only aggravation is that as it is a small hostel, I waited 20 minutes for a person to show up to let me in, although this is understandable. Its told to you before your arrival to let them know about what time you will arrive and if you arrive earlier or later you may have to wait.

Amusingly decorated, friendly & helpful staff, reasonably comfortable beds. As with any hostel, much depends on who shows up at the same time as you do. This time around, almost everybody there was Asian.

Pretty awesome hostel for a good price
It's clean, it's safe, lockers and locks provided. Not the best location but pretty good and safe. Other than The Yellow this is probably the best hostel in Rome

The guesthouse has character and is relatively well located (Rome is pretty small and all the major sights are within walking distance). It felt like being in a private apartment rather than typical touristy lodgings as there are only a few rooms and the reception is only manned for a few hours. The rooms were clean and quirky, it was a pleasure to stay inside. Towels, hot drinks, and a selection of films were available free of charge. Unfortunately there is no kitchen but there is a communal kettle and fridge. I would recommend to friends and stay there again.

Batman Room
We actually stayed at the Movie guesthouse, owned by the same people. The bathroom was very small and was shared by us (family of 4) and by 1 or 2 other groups of people. This was a small inconvenience. At some point I think a fuse blew out, and we had no electricity for about 1 hour. It was difficult to find the place because there was no sign posted outside. But the staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was great too. And the room was neat, themed with Batman movie posters and a large Batman statue. It was a really good place for the price we paid for it, and we would probably return there if we ever have the chance to visit Rome again.

The place was comfortable and relative clean enough. Location was the best of all. Close to train, bus stop, and tourist attractions within walking distance. Only thing was that the A/C was not working and became hot on occasions. They need a bigger fridge in the kitchen.

We were four girls traveling around Europe and found the Comics Guesthouse absolutely delightful! We only stayed one night, but the owners were very friendly, the room, common areas, and bathroom were spotless! Each room also had a very cool comic theme! There is only one bathroom. However, it is shared by only five rooms. We were only there one night, and never found this to be a problem. Since we only stayed one night we didn't get to explore the area, but there is a metro station very, very close making it convenient to travel around Rome.

wonderful welcome to rome!!
As we arrived a few hours early for check in, the staff still allowed us to check in and even gave us a map of the city and highlighted the major attractions for us. The room was very spacious and clean. The neighborhood was residential and a bit hard to catch a taxi but very close to the metro. Very secure building. Not a hostel that has tons of people hanging around common areas which was nice for sleeping! Very quiet.

This was a really great place to stay and close to everything! You can hop on the metro or if you like to walk, it is easy to walk. Just make sure you get there by 8pm. to check in! I was able to come in and out and really enjoyed my experience. I met a lot of nice people while I was there and enjoyed him.

Great hotel close to city center.
The staff is friendly and responsible. They even email me to check if my booking detail is correct few days before we check in. It is about 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station, and about 15 minutes walk to Vatican City. The hotel and the room is clean, and the shared bath room is clean too. The comic theme makes us feel young again.

It is a nice place, but some things could be improve: commodity of the beds, bathroom: we didn't have a bathroom in you room so we could only use the one in the living room but i appeared that ALL guests for the guesthouse, with their private bathrooms, were using it as well
