My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff is incredible - so friendly and helpful! We booked one of our tours through their travel agency as well and thought it was great. The hotel organized our transportation to and from the airport, which was nice because it involved a car, water taxi, and bus. Very much recommend this place if you are staying on Santa Cruz in the Galapagos!

Staff was very friendly, cordial. We arrived early and they made every effort to have our room ready as soon as possible without even asking. They greeted us with a glass of cold tea which was very good and much needed because we were thirsty from walking from the pier to the hotel. They also let us know that the breakfast time had already finished but since the following day we were leaving early to take the ferry they could offer us the included breakfast on the day of our arrival, so we had a wonderful and homey breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese, coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt and it was heaven because we had just come by ferry and hadn't had time to have breakfast. They had water, coffee and tea at the lobby all day. We could walk to the main pier and shopping and dining areas easily, safely and comfortably.

Friendly staff and great breakfast
We really enjoyed the 3 nights we spent here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. They stored our luggage when we went to another Island for a couple of days. The rooms on the first floor are a little noisy, but we are early risers, so it was okay.

Excellent host and highly recommend! We are a family with kids therefore needed additional space and comfort, GD provided great service, good breakfast, clean, and close to many options like the beach, port, food, bakery and mini market nearby. Will say here again.

We stayed for one night at this property and everything was great! The room was well appointed and even had a mini fridge. We were given delicious juice upon arrival. Water pressure was great. Their common areas/bar are really cool and this is a unique and fun property. We will be back!

This property was awesome for a stay and we wish we would have been able to stay longer. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. The little kitchen area was a wonderful amenity in the room and the 2nd sink was so handy to have for 3 adults sharing a room. The staff was super friendly and even made us to go breakfasts the minute they arrived since our ferry was leaving at the exact time breakfast officially started. It was a perfect stay! My only complaint was that we were not there longer!

Great little place! Couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast changed every day, which was lovely. The ladies serving breakfast were lovely too. In a good location to get around to everywhere.

Lovely little spot with lovely staff. I will say: between rain on the various metal and plexiglass surfaces, guests getting up at 6am, and in general lots of activity in the dining area early in the morning and into the evening, I didn't sleep great. It's noisy.

This lady never stay with us. Because the only way to pay was true American Express and we give some other option to pay and help. But she get so matt about no undertanding than in this beutiful paradise Galapagos the tecnology and other thins like conetion to have the divice to collect are no easy. Everyone who love the enviroment understand this. But this lady was really rude and in a very bad actitud. also we dont recomended to host her. Its a very dificult person to trate.

Good value for the price. Food was great, staff were awesome and helpful. There are different parts to the hotel/hostal. My room was above lobby and next to patio. Heard later night and early morning noises as thin walls to those rooms. When booking their $30 pickup fee from the airport - be aware you also need to buy a $5 ticket from the airport to south wnd of Baltra and a $1 fee to cross on the ferry.

Galapagos Dreams is a total scam. The hotel is filthy and disgusting. The rooms have bugs crawling around and the beds are hard as rocks and only twin mattresses pushed together. There is NO POOL and the WIFI is unusable!

Dear Sir. i thing tan problably you choise the wrong hotel. According what you pay in Galápagos. maybe a luxury option shoulb be better. Remember tan we change of room to made a better confort. I dont know if you forget tan this is a wild life destinatino there is to many controls and limitation with resourse. i think tan you coments are totatly out of the reality. please take a trip to a diffents types of destination for the next holiday. Very friendly place to stay. Goes the extra mile to accommodate guest. Called a taxi for us the morning we left and told the driver where we needed to go, great service when visiting a location where we did not speak the language. Within 2 blocks from the wharf and some great restaurants.

Jonathan and the rest of the staff were all helpful and very well-organized. They helped us plan our 4-day stay on the Galapagos, including helping us book trips and lending us resources (such as wet suits and a GoPro) when needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with AC. Breakfast was simple but good. Thank you!

This family run business is friendly, very helpful and always willing to help. As a solo woman traveler they have taken excellent care of me, going up and beyond to collect me when I have needed it. Jonathan and his brothers run an excellent establishment. I shall definitely recommend this place to others. They have made my stay on the Galápagos Islands very pleasurable.

The service was outstanding. The staff very attentive and courteous for anything that we needed. The only minor negative was, we needed to ask for toilet paper most of the time. The WiFi was weak. Otherwise, great stay.

Great location for a home base to explore the Galapagos. The best part of this hotel has to be the staff. They are so accommodating and can help set you up with whatever you need or want to see. Definitely recommend.

Great hostel close to town amazing staff
The Galapagos dreams team were amazing and went above and beyond for our every need They even ordered food for our kids so we did not have to run out after a long day of adventure. We had a special birthday party and they arranged a cake at the restaurant in town. All travel and tours were coordinated and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We had the daily breakfast with eggs bread and yogurt and the free and always available coffee and tea were appreciated. Very laid back code good for families and backpackers alike Would recommend in a minute

Wonderful little hotel -- affordable and conveniently located a few blocks from the village. Staff are friendly and helpful. Jonathon, in particular, was extremely helpful in getting us from the airport to the hotel and arranged some excellent days trips, including two surf boats that enabled us to reach some off-shore breaks. Would definitely return to Galapagos Dreams and highly recommend the hotel to others.

Great place to stay
It is a very nice place, with a great team. They also can organize day trips (maybe more but we went on day trips) that are just 100%. We went twice, with the same guide who is not only nice and speaks English fluently but is also very knowledgeable. When we'll be back to the Galapagos, we'll stay here again.

Not what I expected
Fake photos and fake listing are on website. I was told I would be picked up from the port and I waited there but I did not get picked up. When the taxi I paird for dropped me off at a tour organizing office Here I was told I had to pay for the room ahead of time and I was aggressively asked about buying an expensive sightseeing boat tour the next day. I thank god I did not buy this be as I was tired from the very bumpy and noxious smelling speed boat taxi prior. Water taxi was three hours of hell. Then I had to walk with my bags in rocky streets to another location to a different hotel where I was given a tiny unfinished room with no window. This was a nightmare that I hope to save you from. I complained to the hotel manager and he spoke not one word of English and I was forced to stay there as there was no possibility of a refund

Loved Galapagos Dream. Staff was friendly and happy to help you with anything you needed. Jonatan was helpful in so many ways and helped us find our lost luggage and set up transport and tours. The location is perfect because it is quiet yet only a 3 min walk to the main drag. Also a short 15 min walk to the Darwin Center. Breakfast was included and a great start to the day....

Web description and reviews were bang on- all expectations met. Warm welcome and wonderful hospitality from all staff. Very helpful in arranging things to do during short stay. Room was clean and adequate . excellent location - few minutes walk to main street. Good value for the rates and would definitely recommend...They also went out of their way to help me with my departure when my pre set arrangements were confusing - they went the extra mile to ensure i was ok and on my way ..exceptional service !

Good location, excellent service, clean rooms and healthy breakfast. Jonatan, the owner assisted us with our travel plans (tours). Great family memories! We were well cared for from the moment we arrived to Galapagos Dreams Hostal until the day we left.

Decent but scammy
Hotel was ok except all the rooms have adjoining rooms that let ALL the noise in. Might as well be no door! Jonathan was nice but sells tours and dives via a shop that is known to be a full blown scam (Nautidive). Don't be fooled by his picture of a giant boat. The boat is disgusting and barely works. Pretty sure the captain was drunk. All the locals know the boat is a scam, yet Joanathan chooses to affiliate with them.
