We really enjoyed our time in this lovely apartment! It is exactly as the pictures represent it. The tall ceilings, antiques, and chandeliers gave the apartment the feel of an earlier time, but with modern amenities. The garden was lovely, but with no real places to sit. This didn't bother us because we wanted to sightsee. We did walk through, though, admiring the beautiful peonies and other flowers in bloom. The apartment is perfectly situated and easy to walk almost everywhere. There are terrific restaurants and bakeries very near to the apartment - we enjoyed meals at The James Joyce (Irish pub), and Foodlab (terrific eggs, for a heartier breakfast than croissants), and the Bakeshop. Communication with Michaela was smooth from the beginning. We really appreciated the transfer she arranged from the airport for us. The check-in instructions were probably the best I've ever received. Michaela sent step-by-step instructions with photos, making it very easy to know what to do.There was a great binder with restaurant recommendations and directions to must-see spots in Prague - this was lovely to have! And there were lots of other guidebooks in the apartment for sightseeing ideas. The one thing that was missing was an extra blanket or two - the first night was chilly and it would have been nice to have some extra layers. I highly recommend this lovely apartment for its atmosphere, location, and great host communication. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
