Fifth time staying at this house. Location and layout are hard to beat.
Here is my issue with this place. There is a big disconnect between the amount of money you are spending and the level of service that the management company is willing to provide, when it comes to the preparedness of the home.
Here is what I mean. Arrived on Saturday to a house whose key pad had gone dead, because it needed a new battery. Thermostat downstairs was beeping because it had a low battery. Pool had multiple limps, leaves, and even a plastic bag in it when we got there. Weeds covered the bottom of the fence line and multiple weeds were coming up through the pool decking. Key card for the beach was broken in two. Let the management company know about it (when I probably should have just put it in the basket and they never would have known about it) and they charged me for it because I did not have a time stamped photo of the broken card. A lot of the towels were torn and frayed. Upstairs balcony doors would not lock. Ice maker was broken. Cabinet doors would not close and unless you were drinking wine you were out of luck as there was only three short glasses and four tall glasses for a house that advertises it can accommodate ten people.
Am I saying not to stay here...No, but I want to warn you against setting high expectations.
I know management will say "you should have let us know"...procedures should be in place to make sure the property is inspected before we arrive.
