Nice one bedroom guest house. Full kitchen , big patio with full table four chairs , lounge chairs, and propane Bar-B-Q, all with an amazing view overlooking the vineyards . I plan to stay again this summer, when the vineyards will be full and green.

Nice stay in wine country
The house overlooks a vineyard and is close to many good wineries. The one bedroom was comfortable and perfect for our visit. There was little communication with the property manager but it wasn’t needed.

Great property but aggressive dog
The property was beautiful and had an amazing view of the winery. We were in Oliver to do some wine tours and this was a perfect place to do so. Unfortunately there was an aggressive dog on the property. We were greeted by a loud barking dog that ran up to us and seemed hard to control. We were told he just seems aggressive but really isn’t. That night when trying to let my dogs out we were greeted again by this black dog and now was making sure we didn’t leave the house. I called the property owner and they put the dog inside. The next day we decided to go meet the dog and asked the owner who said that would be great as the dog isn’t aggressive. I told him he seemed aggressive last night but we decided with the owner present and being dog lovers it was worth a try. As soon as my girlfriend got close and with the owners right there the dog lunged and nipped her. He didn’t draw blood but did leave marks on her body. After that they had him tied up and would bark uncontrollably every time anyone walked by the main house. When I finally talked to the property owner about this she offered us some wine and fruit to smooth this all over. This obviously would not make anything better but we thought at least it was a nice jester. Unfortunately we never received anything from them and had no further communication with the owners which was disappointing. Anyone looking to book here with dogs and or small children I would definitely recommend you do not go to this property.

Beautiful View, Well Stocked
This guesthouse is very well stocked - It had all the household amenities a guest could be looking for. The view from the patio is wonderful - You are looking out over a working vineyard w/ love sun sets. I would NOT recommend booking here if you are scared of dogs. The vineyard dog running loose on the property is NOT friendly.

Beautiful vineyard hideaway
This guest house is in a spectacular vineyard location with Hidden Chapel Winery 2 houses over and multiple wineries close by. Minutes from Oliver and friendly, down-to-earth hosts. The main part of the guest house where we stayed is very well-equipped, modern, clean and has a wonderful covered veranda with a gorgeous vista of vineyards and the Okanagan Valley. I would totally recommend this rental to others. Three of us (2 adults and 1 young adult) and our well-behaved, older border collie stayed here comfortably for 2 nights. On the 2nd night we stopped in at the neighbouring winery boutique shop to buy a bottle to drink with the meal we bbq-ed and ate in the evening on the veranda. Absolutely lovely. Only caveat is to confirm your arrival time with the hosts just before you get there as they have a very protective dog that needs to be in his dog area when you arrive. Hosts were helpful and responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

This property is just as advertised: the photos are accurate, the place is roomy, the views across the vineyards really stellar, and you’ve got all you need to settle in. Two issues to mention: if you are afraid of dogs, you should not stay here. The dog at the house nearby barks loudly at you every time, and though he seems to be in an invisible fence, that’s only sometimes. Other times he roams freely and barks at you constantly. He also barks loudly in the middle of the night, waking us from our sleep two of three nights. That kind of stunk. Also, if you’re the kind of person who requires “special touches” to make your stay, you won’t find them: there was no coffee for the Keurig coffee maker, nothing for breakfast (though the aging welcome note said there was), no flowers or bottle of wine. Honestly, these are extras, and I don’t think it’s a big deal, but if you find these really important, well … Basically, really nice place with a guard dog outside!

The location is perfect for visiting all the nearby vineries. The property has everything you would need, including a fully stocked kitchen. Loved enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the patio. Would definitely stay again.

Lacking in Maintenance
Looking at the reviews we were sold on staying here. Lots of positives and a great location. But..........The owners need to do maintenance. Examples; 1. The dishewasher hasn't worked since 2019. BUY A NEW ONE! 2. The forn porch lights don't work. Fix them. 3. The fridge has leaked water inside since 2020. Either fix it or buy a new one! 4, Screen door to porch won't close. Fit it as it allowed bugs into the unit which was iritating. 5. The 3 Kitchen ceiing lights do not work. Fix them. 6. The bedroom closet door won't close with out a fight. Fix it. 7. TV/DVD/Roku remotes - no instructions and when Harsh's son came owner he switched out the wiring so yes we could watch movies (well stocked BTW) but not TV. 8. Parking - The one tree in front of the house dropped debris on thew cars which is almost impossible to remove. Identify and mark a location for parking instead of the most logicalk in front of the steps. 9.. Communications - On a scal of 0-5 it started out as a 2 and got worse as the requests to resolve the problems were never resolved (we did get a bottle of wine which seems to be their answer to any problems). 10. Definately not pet friendly as they have a large blasck dog (80 lbs?) un leashed and barks constantly. We could not open the door without him charging toward us and barking. Every time we opened the door!!!!!! Our dog was actually frightened to go outside. Nice home and location though. Unless ALL these issues are resolved we would not stay here again nor make a recomendation for others to as well.

Thanks for letting me know but the dishwasher works, the fridge is new. The lights work as I checked them. The dog has not charged at you as cameras on property which I have checked and it’s a farm house so there’s going to be debris from trees. The entrance is easy to find and haven’t had any issues with any other guest. I’m sorry about the dog barking but we get a lot of deers in the property which eat our grapes and damage our crop and our dog keeps them away.

There are many positives to this rental. It is well located for visiting wineries in the Oliver area. It is spacious, quite modern and well-built. It has good wifi and TV and the clothes washer and dryer work well. The bed and living room sectional are comfortable. Among the downsides was the general level of cleanliness. Many of the drinking glasses had smears and "lip tracks" and some of the cutlery was not clean. We washed all of the dishes we would be using. The furniture on the deck seemed not to have been wiped down in some time. There were pet hairs all over the floor (soon to be all over the bottom of our socks) and on the living room furniture (soon to be all over our clothes). On the morning of our second of three days we requested that someone come to clean the floors but were informed that cleaning is only done once per rental, at the end of the rental period. When we explained about the pet hair, the owner inquired as to when we would be away so he could have a cleaner come in, but that never happened. The state of cleanliness was concerning, given that we paid a substantial cleaning fee. The dishwasher doesn't work, as earlier reviews have mentioned in reviews going back over a year. The kitchen could use a general refurbishment and the BBQ is in need of repair or replacement. Communication with the owner was almost non-existent. On the VRBO website portal we received only 2 messages, acknowledging our booking and dealing with our payment. There was no info provided on check-in (self check-in, it turned out). We never saw nor heard from the owner during our 3 days other than when I was struggling to get the BBQ lit, he called over from his balcony in another building a distance away that if the propane was empty he would get it filled. I explained that this wasn't the problem (it was the strong winds). Other than that, we never saw nor heard from the owner or his family. We found this quite unusual compared to other properties we've stayed at, even during COVID times. We are undecided on whether we would stay at the property again.

House very clean with lots of towels and everything you need to cook. Nice big terrasse overlooking wines and fruit plantations with Okanagan mountains in backyard: we enjoyed all our breakfasts on that terrasse. Nice place to stay to visit all the wineries South Okanagan! Would stay there again!

Quiet, well appointed and amazing location
Second time staying here and we'll be back. This is a great location in the heart of S. Okanagan wine country and your large deck overlooks the vineyards. I had some of the best nights of sleep I've had in years in the amazingly comfortable bed. Some aspects of the kitchen need some repair and replenishing but for the most part we were able to find all we needed. Bathroom had all that we could possibly need. We loved watching the quail early each evening.

Quiet Escape
We loved this property. From what we could tell the view would be amazing if not for the smoke. Felt very secluded but close to Oliver and local wineries. Definitely walk over to Hidden Chapel Winery! The place was clean and spacious and we found the bed very comfortable (although the sheets were a bit scratchy) and loved sleeping in AC - such a treat! The kitchen was well stocked and would be perfect if the dishwasher was working. Would definitely stay again!

Clean and well appointed. Everything we needed was supplied. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils and pots and pans. There were extra towels, even beach towels. The guesthouse was roomy for two and the bed was comfortable. The location was great for visiting wineries.

Great balcony with view to unwind, relax with privacy. Location great to take in wine country, towns and lakes of south Okanagan Valley. Hot water a little short and dishwasher still broke. Exterior gardens in pictures gone with current landscape reno happening. All other amenities very good so a solid 4 of 5 star.

Terrific Location
Staying right amongst the vines truly helps you feel the connection to Oliver and the incredible vineyards in the area. Fantastic location. The town of Oliver is friendly and charming! The Rama vegetable stand owned by the property owners has fabulous produce - and their red pepper jelly and multiple jams are the best we’ve had in years. That along with their welcome bottle of Rama merlot was our favorite!

Property clean and well appointed. Nice touches include USB ports, coffee, variety of herbs, salt, pepper etc., very clean premises. Under the needs improvement, no propane for BBQ or wire brush to clean said BBQ, dishwasher not working (but the place is for two people, so washing up is not hard). Would stay again for sure.

Well appointed guest house, fully equipped, clean and comfortable with large deck overlooking the vineyard. The owner Harsh was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary and he brought us a bottle of Merlot from their vineyard. We will definitely be back.

The listing was exactly as shown. Clean, dishwasher didn’t work and fridge leaked inside. Weird, there was an empty bowl inside of the fridge so owners must have been aware. Dishwasher had a sign on it that it was not working. Not a big deal for 2 people. Nice deck and view. The weather was beautiful so we ate and sat on the deck most of the time. A little strange that we never once saw or spoke with the owner of the rental during our 4 day stay. Something I have never experienced before with a rental. The door was open with the key sitting on the island on a very crinkled coffee string sheet of instructions. Strange but okay, as we just left the key in the same place and departed.

We came here for our 40th anniversary...
So glad we did! Best Airbnb experience so far and we’ve stayed in plenty. Super clean, private, quiet and the view is incredible. Felt like we were in Tuscany surrounded by acres of grape vines. The cottage is air conditioned with lovely ceiling fans if needed, the bed is comfy, the deck is outfitted perfectly with lounge chairs etc. *sidenote* if a dishwasher is important to you the one here is not working Will definitely be back.

Escape from the City for 4 Nights
Very happy with our stay. The property is comfortable and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. Each morning, we started our day with a long cup of coffee on the deck, listening to the birds. It’s a shame the sound from Hwy97 travels so easily. The location was a great jumping off point for our daily cycle to the various wineries in the area. Access to the paved KVR is just a few minutes away and it’s a lovely ride along the river. Please note that the bbq requires some maintenance and the dishwasher wasn’t working. That said, the bed was very comfortable and there were ample fluffy white towels in the bathroom.

Beautiful retreat
Beautiful cottage overlooking vineyard. We went in the winter, so it was very quiet. The fridge was stocked with breakfast goods and Boursin (yum!). Lovely place to hang out and relax, which is just what we wanted. Well-outfitted, but 3 things to note: check that the stove burners are plugged in when you arrive (all 4 were unplugged and we initially thought they were all broken); pull up on the door to lock it when leaving; very small hot water tank--not enough for 2 showers in a row or a bath.

Very nice location, but a few issues.
The unit is perfect for two people who want a location in the heart of the wine country around Oliver, BC. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. The deck was a very nice place to sit overlooking a vineyard and across the valley to more vineyards and orchards. A couple of issues became apparent during our stay. The stovetop burners were not working, and it was clear the owner was aware of the problem before our arrival, but never said anything, and just waited for us to discover the problem. The BBQ had a side burner and so I used that two mornings to make scrambled eggs. The third morning of our stay, the propane ran out before I could get the eggs cooked at all. Apparently, the owner wasn't monitoring the tank. After the stove and propane issues, the owner acknowledged that the dishwasher also wasn't working. There was also no offer to refund any of our rent despite these problems and the owners lack of forthrightness. As mentioned the unit is very attractive and in a great location. Hopefully, the owner is learning the importance of taking care of all parts of the house, and of being transparent with renters about any existing problems.

Oliver wine country cottage
Great place to stay - excellent location, very private and our dogs were allowed too! The only reason I gave a 4 star overall was because the air conditioner broke the day we arrived and because it was a long weekend the hosts couldn't get it fixed. However all the fabulous fruit we received as a gift made up for a few sweaty nights. Hosts were amazing easy to contact with any questions - thanks for a great stay! We'll be back!

This is a beautiful guest house. It is closer to bike trails, hiking, fruit stands, and it's not far from downtown Oliver. The place is comfortable and well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The family is lovely. Offering smiles and privacy both. We highly recommend this guest house and will definitely return.

We loved the quiet, self-contained guest suite overlooking the orchard and with expansive views to vineyards across the valley. Our host was very generous and brought us fresh produce from their produce store! The bed was the BEST quality we've stayed in at a B&B. We had a wonderful stay!

Excellent location for easy access to the many great road cycling routes around Oliver. Great view from the deck. Interior is open and roomy and nicely decorated. May is a great month in the Okanagan - sunny but not too hot and lighter traffic.

Everything you need.
This guesthouse is back from the road so it’s quiet, with a great view. Perfect for a solo or a couple’s retreat. It’s only 5 minutes to town, but with a full kitchen you can stay in too. Place is exactly as advertised.
