Overall, it appears to be a satisfactory establishment. The accommodations are satisfactory, and the staff is courteous and professional. I would recommend this establishment to anyone seeking lodging in the Okeechobee area.

While I'd like to say thank you for your stay and review, unfortuntately I can't. The way you acted with our young staff member is unacceptable. You were asked to leave the property in the end. Your complaints were bogus, staff went above and beyond to accomodate you from the beginning. police had to become involved

The room was old, smelled like mildew, the curtains and bed spreads were thick and ugly. The room had little natural light. There was not a shower curtain so everything got wet. I had to bring my wet towels into the office and wait for new ones. This had to be done daily. The room would only be cleaned every 4 days. The lock kept on rejecting the key so I had to find someone to re-program the key twice daily. The manager was wonderful but she could not do anything to help me. The pool and lake side was very nice and clean. I want my money back because it ruined my vacation. At 75 years old I had to walk to the office, wait for 15 - 30 minutes for towels or a key. And then return to my room sometimes finding the kay wont work and having to return to the office.--- I would not spend time in the room watching TV or reading because it was so awful. The idea of a vacation was to rest - and that did include taking off my shoes and relaxing in the room.

I showed up with a Expedia reservation that the hotel did not have, the hotel fortunately had a room and were very helpful , however this is not the first time this has happened!!! Not understanding how rooms can be reserved through Expedia and Hotels don’t have your reservation??????

Stayed for four nights doing business. 1st few days were fine but I left at 630 am and arrived at 8 pm. My room was never cleaned the whole time I was there. They don’t clean rooms during your stay. At end of stay check out was at 11 am. I was woke up a 9 am to then knocking on door to clean too. Then another knock at 1020am then again at 10 50am then another I asked for a check out at noon. I had business calls to make. No was the answer to that. Why do we pay for a hotel till 11 am and the cleaners are knocking on your doors in the morning to get out. It’s a pet peeve especially when there is no sign to put on the handle to say sleeping. So packed my bags out of the room by 11 am. Went to lobby kitchen and sat down and had a coffee. I need an hr now to do calls. It’s quiet and I am by myself no one around. Front desk came up “ did you check out , yes I did. Well are your bags out of the room. Yes they are “. She seemed annoyed. I sat doing my calls and was doing ok. Then at 11:45 am She says. You only have a couple minutes you have to leave we don’t like lingering people. My thoughts went to I just paid 800 dollars to stay four nights I was woke up rudely three times. Rushed out of the room and now I can’t have my coffee and finish my business calls. I think I will stay at a cheaper motel next time this is not what I call pleasant. Remember this last day was all before noon on check our day.

The staff did good over the phone when I called for extra late check-in. Arriving, the building outside needs upkeep and updating. I had to find the front desk clerk when I arrived, finally got to my room. Definitely needs updating. The bathroom was older than me and the shower head leaked major. That night, the a/c started making a horrible noise and not cooling. Again had to go find a clerk, then Moved to another room that the carpet was filthy in. Better condition, just very dirty carpet. Walking across barefooted, my feet were black. Breakfast is NOT continental. Bowl of cereal or yogurt. No fruit and limited choice on drinks. Overall, it was only good for an exhausted stay. I would not stay there again.

The property and location were nice, rooms were ok, but dirty. It says free breakfast and 3 of the 5 days there wasn't any, staff said they were out. The other 2 days were cereal and stale muffins and bread, frozen orange juice. Very disappointed in menu and one staff member. Probably wont stay there again

We arrived at the property at 12:30 pm to confirm our reservation before fishing. The staff assured me our reservation was in their system and to come back after 3pm to check in. When we came back at 6pm, we were told the type of room we reserved with a separate bedroom was under maintenance and not available. I asked to be given 2 regular rooms for the same price and was denied but assured I could cancel the reservation with no penalties. I will not be going back to this location.

Staff and management was very friendly, very courteous and understanding. Hotel price was reasonable. Breakfast was very limited. Could use a waffle maker. Hotel could use some maintenance, place to the entrance of the lobby were out. Server all the lights in room 202 were out. The toilet seat in room 202 was very loose almost fell off. The floors in room 22 were dirty from day one needed sweeping.

Property is very old, rooms have old furniture. We did face breathing issues with air conditioning, really could not sleep, air has some kind of dust, we initially thought that it was the blankets, but later we turned off the air conditioning then felt better. So overall experience was not at all good. Hotel needs restoration in so many ways, I would not recommend this Days Inn for anyone.

Breakfast was nonexistent. The front desk clerk would not refill anything even at 8:45am. Breakfast is supposed to go to 10am but she said it ends at 9. And refused to refill anything even before that. The place is pretty run down. Definitely in need up some remodeling
