The location was good for accessing the areas of midtown Manhattan I wanted to visit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are small as is common in older buildings. Hotel was not in the nicest area, but I always felt safe.

The staff was nice. The room smelled moldy. It was very small. Although the staff was told of the smell (wet moldy carpet), the only thing that was done was a lot of air freshener by housekeeping.

The hotel generally provided a good stay. However, there were some issues that need attention. The water pressure in the sink was excessively high, making it difficult to use without splashing, and the shower handle was broken, which was inconvenient. I liked how it was close to everything but on the outskirts of the busy chaos. The staff and room were amazing. They were so helpful with everything we needed. I am very happy we chose this hotel over others!

Property met my basic needs. Staff were warm and welcoming. The room was cleaned very late in the evenings sometimes inconvenient as I liked to rest at that time. The air con unit was noisy- like a jumbo jet taking off - the whole thing vibrated. So it woke me many times durning the night.

I am unable to fault the hotel as it was perfect for our week long trip however the only issue would be the area it is located. It is ideal for transport and closeness to Times Square but beware that what appears to be homeless people and or gangs litter the street close to the entrance which could feel unsafe especially towards the evening and night time.

I'm just leaving NYC. This hotel is conveniently located. I was able to get an early check-in, which helped a lot. The staff was amazing. Everything you need is less than a block away. My only complaint was the teeny cocktail you get for $10. If you're looking for easy access all over the city, this is it. And check out the Bagel Market right up the street across from the NY Times building. It was a great place for breakfast. I would recomment this hotel to a friend. The staff was 5 stae

I had a last minute opportunity to stay here for New Year’s Eve, and I am so grateful I took the chance! The hotel was close walking distance to Times Square, I didn’t feel uncomfortable walking alone surrounding the hotel, the amenities were great, but the customer service was absolutely top notch! Every time I walked in they welcomed me with a smile and asked how my day was going, they recognized me each time and made me feel safe and more like a neighbor than just another tourist paying for a room.

Overall, my stay was great! I've no complaints - the staff was courteous. Only issue I had was the open window in my room which led to cold room. Once I had the heating on, it was all good.
