Nestled neatly in the town of New Braunfels, the property is right on the river, which makes it a paradise for those wanting to enjoy nature.

Entering the house, you’ll see a space that is all about simplicity and cuteness. The open floor plan makes you feel open and relaxed, which is the goal of any vacation. The living room is equipped with a mounted flat screen television and cozy seating. The kitchen speaks of freshness, and is the perfect place for whipping up quick meals between enjoying the outdoors.

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed and has an entrance to the shared bathroom. The bathroom has a double sink vanity, as well as a full tub and shower. The second bedroom includes 2 full sized beds (great for family trips!).

Whether you’re coming to the Guadalupe to fish, tube, kayak, or swim, the River Getaway will be the home for you.

The place was perfect for my wife and I! Great spot on the river in a good area. We could chill and be secluded or get out with fellow river-goers. Great time and would recommend!

When we arrived the silverware and spatula had food on them. The bathtub wasn’t draining, I pulled a handful of hair out. The hill is steep getting to the river and access to the river could be challenging for some. The view was great and of course the river was fine. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, plenty of wildlife to see.

Cute, comfortable and as described! Enjoyed a wonderful stay in this charming place. As mentioned in other reviews, the one set of beds is very squeaky but soft so opted for the couch. Beautiful view either deer grazing in the mornings. Do wish the water access was easier to get in and out, but had a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed our relaxing stay & the view of the river from the lawn, with lots of birds in the mornings especially! The house was clean & well-equipped. River access would have been a bit of a challenge for some, with a grassy slope & drop off but I think that's clear from the property description & photos.

The house was in disrepair and falling apart, it is a party spot for college kids floating the river not a place to take your family. We stayed one night bc we had nowhere else to go and moved first thing in the morning. The pictures are very deceiving and don’t show the true condition of this home.

Housekeeping could have done a better job in the bathroom. Some else's hair was in the shower, on the sink and baseboards had wet toilet paper stuck next to the toilet. Lawn next to water should have been mowed. The tall grass is uncomfortable on bare legs. For that price, movie channels should be included. Otherwise a nice stay
