Bayfront Cottage with Spectacular Views

Be prepared to enjoy the view of the stunning sunrises over the ocean and enjoy a refreshing drink on the back deck to view the incredible sunsets over the marsh. Enjoy a fully stocked and newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops and all the amenities. Watch porpoises at play from the comfortably furnished Great Room. Enjoy the gas fireplace on cool evenings or star gaze from the hot tub. The upper floor is reserved for the extra large master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, en suite bath and large sitting room. Two other bedrooms are located on the main floor, and contain 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed.

Great Winter Escape

This is an amazing place for a winter escape (Seems great for other seasons, but we went in the winter). Directly on the beach with access for walks, and bird watching across the street at the wetlands. Hot tub is great, and the night sky views are incredible. House is really comfortable, with a large kitchen and dining area. Short trip to Lewes for dinner or brunch.

Another long awaitead stay at Glenmore

Its been a few years since we've stayed here and we were pleasantly surprised with all the beautiful renovations , including the new deck! Beautiful views and well lit natural sunlight. Always always a pleasure !

Quiet Beach Getaway

Long weekend with family

We absolutely loved our long weekend. The weather was interesting as there was about 5 inches of snow on the ground when we arrived and we received another inch or two while we were there. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We ventured out one of the days and had dinner at a local restaurant. Otherwise we stayed put and enjoyed a peaceful weekend. We even went in the hot tub surrounded by snow. Can't wait to come back!! Thank you Glenn.

This is our second time here and we are coming back next year. We love spending quiet time with our family, fishing, crabbing, biking and exploring the beach. The house is cozy and has everything we need!

Tasteful, wonderful escape.

Glen has great taste. The place was superbly decorated and every detail was in place. I challenge anyone staying here to feel lacking an appliance, spice, towel, cooking utensil….anything. The view and walks on the beach were wonderful, and since it was December we barely saw another soul. Wife, pup and I will likely conspire for a return at some point. The house WAS the vacation.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

This was our fourth visit to Glenmore cottage and it was wonderful as always. It is an ideal location for enjoying a quiet beach and getting closer to nature, and Glen is a very thoughtful host. We would love to return.

Exceeded Our Expectations

We adored this property! The location is wonderful - so scenic between the marshes and the sea (the Delaware Bay near where it meets the Atlantic). Sunrises and sunsets are incredible. Quiet and peaceful. The house is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The owner Glenn has it so thoughtfully stocked with every supply you can imagine.We hope to return often.
