We stayed at this property with two other families for our sons’ tournament. The house held everyone well and the pool was great to pass the time in. We utilized the grill and the boys were able to use the field at the nearby high school as well. The only thing that was not ideal was the mini split units in the upstairs did not get very cold so guests sleeping up there were not as cool as those sleeping downstairs with the central air. Overall this was a lovely stay and we all enjoyed this property!

Nice home in a Nice location

My family and I stayed at South County Poolside Hangout for our son's graduation from the Naval Academy. The home is very clean, in a nice location, the beds are comfortable, the appliances all worked well, and the home had lots of extra items that we could use that we didn't know we would need like a steaming iron, and a flower vase. The only thing I think we couldn't find that we needed were scissors. I agree with the other reviewer that the pictures do not do this house justice. It is very pretty. The weather was not suitable for swimming during our stay, but the pool was cleaned for us and ready to go if we had wanted to use it. I recommend this home for families.

Family get away

First off I want to say the house was absolutely beautiful. The pictures does it no Justice. The house was very clean, and well equipped with everything you can think you’ll possibly need. The beds are comfortable, the area is nice, and the land is beautiful. Carolyn was very, very responsive. Everything I messaged her about she responded right back. The only down fall was that I booked the home mainly for the pool, but the pool was dirty due to a storm prior to my stay. Carolyn tried to get someone out to clean it but was unsuccessful due to it being the weekend. I absolutely loved her communication and she was very nice. My family and I will book again soon.

The house was very clean and well set up for gathering and spending time together. Checking in and using the property was easy and communication was mostly great. We realized we were going to be in the area about an hour before check in so I messagedto ask if the property would be available for early check in. The host messaged me right back and said she would check with the cleaning company and let me know if the house was ready. I never got any follow up so we ended up waiting in a parking lot until it was time to check in. No that big of a deal, but this is the one time the communication fell a little short. Walking into the house there was a bit of a musty smell and I suspect it has something to do with having the pool and different people always using the home for vacation stays. We were told the minisplits in the bedrooms upstairs weren't working and they had window units in both of the rooms as a temporary solution. They did okay. The bathroom shower upstairs is very small and I'm certain not usable for all, but a few of us were able to use it and was actually quite pleased with the water pressure. There was a a little complaint from those who showered downstairs that the water pressure was not good, at all. That said, I do not know how much other water was being used in the house during those showers so it's possible there was just too much water running at once. We had 9 women staying together for the weekend. We did overall enjoy our stay- even with all the rain!
