Family holiday
The holiday home was exactly was we were expecting, there was plenty of room for everyone, the pool is a walk away from the apartment, but the kids were ok with that, as we spent all day there. Communication with the owner was good and responded to us. we didn’t have any issues… it’s the perfect house if you have a big family. My family had an an amazing holiday and enjoyed staying here. Couple of comments 1. A little welcome pack would be good especially as the house is a good 20 mins drive from any shops and you can’t check in till 4pm 2. A fridge at the pool would be handy especially for the lunch if you plan to be up there all day. 3. As it was very hot it would be handy to have some fans as the rooms were uncomfortable. 4. Maybe some garden furniture would be handy to have available as we couldn’t really sit on the balcony.

Hello Samantha Thank you for your comments, which help us to improve our offer. This year has been exceptionally warm and it's the first time we've had such temperatures. Fortunately we're in the countryside and can open the windows at night to cool the rooms. In any case, we're going to make the necessary arrangements for next summer. The fact that there is no garden furniture on the balcony but in the courtyard of the gite at garden and barbecue level is deliberate. This position limits noise for the neighbors and seemed more practical. But there's nothing to stop you arranging the outside as you wish during your stay. We look forward to welcoming you at any other time of year to discover the Champagne region in a different way.

We had a good stay. House is large and fully equipped. There are no lounge chairs for the garden, but they are at the host's pool which is nearby. The area is lovely and quiet and a great base for exploring the Champagne region Christine is an excellent hostess

A big house with al nice view
It is a big house with a nice garden. It was clean and tidy. The ground floor is dated, the top floor has been modernized. It is a pity that the swimming pool is still quite far away in warm weather. The owner of the house is very friendly.

Wonerful!
Thank you Christine and Didier for a wonderful stay at your lovely house! It was the right size for our party of 11 people. We used the BBQ most nights, had plenty of space and the use of the swimming pool was great for all of us, especially the kids! We had the best weather, went Champagne tasting, space for cars. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, theres a small village 2km away to get bread in the mornings. I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a big house & we would definitely stay again. Thank you again!

Very spacious house beautiful region
lovely and spacious house. it is situated in a very calm and quiet area. Christine was very nice and helpful. She gave us all information needed, also extra help to find a place to fix a flat tyre. We had a great time there. Hope we can return in summer time.

belle maison entièrement équipée
nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances en famille! La maison était super, elle était assez spacieuse pour nous 7 et il y avait un beau jardin spacieux et clos. C'était bien pour notre chien. L'hôtesse était très sympathique et nous avons apprécié la belle région. Comme c'était agréable d'être là à l'automne, les couleurs des vignes et des arbres étaient écrasantes. La maison était vraiment entièrement équipée. La semaine a filé !

Nous avons séjourné le temps d'un we en Champagne dans cette belle propriété. Nous avons trouvé tout le confort nécessaire pour nos trois familles avec enfants. La maison était propre, nous avons été accueilli par Christine qui nous a tout expliqué sur le fonctionnement de la maison et à répondu à toutes nos questions tant avant que pendant le séjour. Beautiful property in idyllic scenery
Our family has just enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in Mareuil-en-Brie, we had a lovely time in the gite which has great facilities - everything you could possibly need to serve as a base when you’re exploring the area (heartily recommend champagne tasting at nearby Chateau de Boursalt and setting aside a day to venture into Paris). Having access to a private pool proved absolutely invaluable when it came to entertaining 3 children. All in all a great stay.

Champagne travels
We enjoyed staying in the gite. It is very well stocked, clean and the location can’t be beaten. You have to walk to pool, about 500m. But to be honest for the price it was worth it. Many thanks Kemp family

All was excellent but I have two complaints 1 the photo of property with pool you assume the pool is next door as it happens it is a walk away this needs to be sorted it didn't make any difference to me as the house is fantastic 2 garden furniture down stairs needs sorting as two chairs (with arms) have cracks in and could be dangerous. I still give 9 out of 10 well done Christine.xxxx

Très bon rapport qualité-prix, très spacieux et très calme
La maison est située dans un petit village très calme. La propriétaire est très accueillante et disponible. Idéale pour les grandes familles (5 chambres et 2 salles de bains...). Nous avons apprécié le 'guide' maison disponible qui recommande de très bons restaurants et lui à découvrir.

Nous avons tous des préférences de literie et d’oreillers surtout en vieillissant mais je vous avoue avoir été très surprise par votre remarque «certains couchages inconfortables » Les matelas sont récents avec des fermetés différentes pour s’adapter au mieux à chacun Les 2 lits superposés de la chambre carbone sont plus adaptés à des enfants ou adolescents, effectivement pas toujours adaptés à des vacanciers plus âgés Côté cuisine nous avons pris en compte votre remarque et allons mettre en plus des couverts actuels des couteaux à steak Dommage que vous ne nous ayez pas prévenu au moment de votre départ , nous aurions pu en discuter ensemble Ces échanges sont toujours intéressantes pour nous Ils nous permettent de faire évoluer notre offre aux attentes des vacanciers

Le gîte est très pratique pour accueillir une grande famille. Nous étions 10 personnes et nous y avons passé un agréable we. Même nos 2 chiens ont apprécié le grand jardin! Nous recommandons le gîte pour visiter Epernay et alentours. Très bon accueil.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end en Champagne (10 adultes) dans la maison du gîte Le Clos Moreau. La maison est conforme à la description de l’annonce avec une cuisine très bien équipée. A lovely house in the middle of the champagne-district
My family and I had a weeks vacation at this house. The place was large and clean, with all that is needed for a large family. It has a lovely garden, with a pretty view, at night the town was silent, it was the most calm experience we could wish for. We had a great communication with the host, who also came by to make shure that we where satified and to answer any questions we might have. The house is located in a small village, with a small scenic drive to many interresting places. In under an hours drive, you can get to Reims, Soissons, Épernay and Sezanne. All while enjoying the views along the drives. Unfortunently, there is no public transportation, so, a car is a must if you stay here. The pool was located next-doors, we did not use it, but, there where clear information on how to use it. We hope to stay here again sometime.

Very Comfortable Stay
We stayed for 2 nights on our trip to Epernay/Reims. The house was clean and comfortable. The host was reachable by text and quick to respond. The WiFi did not work for the first evening but was fixed with a few resets. The doors were a little hard to manage with the keys provided, in the future I’d put a note in the welcome sheet about how to easily lock and unlock the doors. Thanks for a nice stay!

Ruime en verzorgde woning waarin gezelligheid troef is. Vlakbij de champagneroute en dichtbij een paar goede champagnehuizen. De inrichting is gedateerd maar net en in prima staat. Wat meer bestek zou goed zijn, en het vervallen hok helemaal achteraan zou best verdwijnen. Gezellig uitgerust met houtvuur. Zeer correcte prijs/kwaliteit.

The property is in a beautiful part of France, unspoiled and well worth visiting again.
The house has everything you need. Everything was very clean and Christine met us on our arrival to show us around. It has a lovely large garden and balcony area and the views are fantastic. We did not get to use the swimming pool and terrace at Christine's as we did not have time for that, we were only there five days, so cannot comment on that. Christine was very helpful before our stay and answered all of our questions promptly. We enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect place to meet up with friends for a holiday.

Fabulous gite
We had a delightful family holiday at Christine & Didier's gite. The cottage is set in a beautifully peaceful garden. It has everything you could need and is clean and spacious. Plenty of outdoor space and the added bonus of a small pool being made available at Chritine & Didier's home. The location is brilliant and perfect for visiting the many champagne producers in the area, which we took full advantage of. We would recommend this property and you will not be disappointed 🍾

Nice house, good location and the pool is great on hot days
We had a wonderful stay at the house. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed our stay very much. The pool is further down the road and is great for a hot day. Christine was very nice, responded quickly to our emails and she shared some good tips for the region.
