Shower room (shower, washing machine and dryer). WC. Outside, private courtyard secured by an electric gate. Enclosed garden. Picnic table. Deckchairs. Barbecue. Covered shelter. Gas central heating. Firewood available. All charges included. Sheets, towels and household linen provided. Cleaning service at an additional cost. In the heart of the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Natural Park, between Carentan and Sainte-Mère-Eglise, this destination will surprise you with its changing landscapes throughout the seasons. On sunny days, vast meadows stretch as far as the eye can see, and in winter, water gradually invades the fields—hence the name "white marshes." With its riverside church, Liesville-sur-Douve is a picturesque village. The nearby Anguille bar (open year-round) is quite popular as it's a unique place to enjoy a drink. Further on, the river cruise pier awaits... Natacha welcomes you to this fully renovated gîte, near the farm she runs with her husband. You can tour the farm and purchase farm products (meat, organic vegetables, dairy products, cider/pommeau). You even have your own old-fashioned milk jug to collect the fresh milk from the morning milking.

Visit to Normandy

Lovely cottage - very comfortable and well equipped. Nice wood burner to keep the place warm. Garden fenced so no escaped dogs. Fresh milk from the farm. Ideal situation for all things Normandy and WW11
