Can go to Mosque!!!
The hotel has many rooms but it is gloomy. Probably due to the covid-19 pandemic, not many people stay here. There are two elevators, only one is used. But I also chose to stay at this hotel because it is very close to the mosque. Chance to jemaah for Subuh prayers at the mosque. And also close to Kuah jetty. So I do not have to chase for the ferry boarding in the morning. If you want a lively hotel with people and nightlife, can stay at the Pantai Cenang area.

Physical Distancing, our management decided to control the amount of guests staying into our hotel. Which means we do not release all 128 rooms during this pandemic period. In addition, we have significantly increased cleaning schedules in all public areas with particular focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, lift buttons, telephone, remote control, switches, fridge and other amenities . Great entrance with dirty restorant, but roomy
I arrived one day before actual main visits arrive (Chinese New Year). I noticed in the room that TV had no signal. At the end was a week signal with very bad picture. I also noticed licking of the drainage. When I washed my hand, water dripped down and sprinkled on my legs. I reported that immediately, nothing happened. They had very dirty table cloth as well on the chairs. It would be better not have cloth if they are not ready to wash it enough frequently. With small repairs and small renovations, hotel could be great. People are pleasant but that can not take away bad fillings of how hotel is maintained. You can imagine that food winch was enough tasty lost much of good taste. I tried toaster only once but in some places it is working only on one side.

I think this hotel need maintenance immediately because it had so many broken things. Fortunately, the service staff still friendly always.

Its totally bad parking lots, and never informed earlier in TA that swimming pool is under maintenance, air conditioning not work well, power off, haunted floor 7 room 707, it's very disturbing at night, no extra key provided, breakfast OK the menu, tv channel cannot change, not willing to change room to us, can sleep n bath, other than that same as budget hotel not worth till rm 165 per night not included tax here, not satisfactory

A bit old and run diwn
Hotel was very old and run down. There was a worn and torn ironing board in the corridor. Seems to be left there unattended.

I stayed one extra night from My 3 original. Same issue problem with the room no toilet paper, no bottle waters. Keys was not working, Manager informed (complementary shuttle to the port). Thank you!

Good location ..note is renovating at the moment
I arrived at 1pm they said room was not available (no problem) came back at 9pm they let me wait 10min on the reception to find a room.Spot of the sheet and towels. No toilet paper on the toilet. Spoke the day after with the manager she apologies, she promise an upgrading for one night. When I came back she said the room was not available anymore. Ask for a good price of one more night ( the hotel has a good location) they offer the same fare as your website so I book once again with you. Very bad service good location and ok brekfast.

Save your money- do not stay at this hotel.
Despite the fact that the staff were friendly and the room was a decent size it is not at all like the pictures in the booking site deliberately misleading potential guests. The rooms are incredibly shabby with tape on the cupboards and wardrobe, with noisy renovations. There was a pair of old shoes in the room when we arrived, no idea whose they were, so it had not been properly cleared. The bathroom is similar to what I imagine a prison bathroom to look like, it was at least 20 years old with paint that had peeled off the sink and there was rust on the metal door, something not allowed in the UK as it is a serious Health and Safety risk due to the potential for Tetanus. There is a large mosque across the road from the hotel which blasts out not just the standard call to prayer that you'd expect in an Islamic country, but long sermons lasting about an hour several times a day making it difficult to sleep, on holiday you don't necessarily appreciate the very loud 6 am wake up call and sermon. The wi-fi was awful and did not work most of the time. On top of all this the lift broke meaning a member of staff had to come let us down and up to our room and there was a 'mistake' in the booking system and a member of staff wanted to chuck us out even though I had paid for another night. The breakfast was bland and unsatisfying and made me feel ill afterwards, my boyfriend commented he had the worst sausage he'd ever had.

Affordable hotel close to Kuah town.
Minor renovation being done. Apartment building in construction next to it, can be a little disruptive. I booked for 2 rooms for 2 night. On the first day I reported room phone is not working and TV remote doesn't have batteries. Both reports were not attended to. Parking lot is extremely limited, I counted only 8 parking spaces available. The hotel signage is not easily seen from afar. I missed it on approach and had to double back. A small swimming pool exist but looks like hadn't been used for some time. It was barred by a cleaning rod. Of course I didn't pay premium price for my stay. The stay was bearable.

The hotel is clean though its look old. The breakfast is terrible. Too limited. Coffee and juice is always empty whenever i go for breakfast at 8.30am. Staff are okay not attentive nor polite.

far from beach
Hotel is far from beach (30 minutes by car to Cenang beach) but is closer (5 mins away) to Eagle Square. Walls are paper thin, so if you happen to be allocated next to a noisy neighbour it'll suck. Cleanliness of room was just okay. There is no cable TV, mostly local channels broadcasting and the only shows in English was CNN and the resolution was not that great. The shower takes a while to turn hot, you have to keep it running for 5 minutes or so to get it to its optimal temperature. If you're looking for a place to just sleep at night and dont mind the drive, this hotel is not bad. But if you're going to langkawi to be at the beach (which is where everything is) then opt out of this hotel.

For your information, the management are trying our very best to negotiate with the next door neighbor construction work to minimise the level of noise and despite lodged many reports to relevant authorities. Until to date, no actions taken by them. In order to resolve the noise level, we tried to locate all our in-house guests into right wing. However, during your check in time hotel was running high occupancy and therefore we are unable to do so. We sincerely apologise for this. As for nearby place of interest, perhaps our staff should introduce more of the nearby places such as Lagenda park and beach (about 5 minutes walk from the hotel), Langkawi shopping fair and pekan rabu just less than few minutes walk from Eagle Bay hotel. We hope you find the above information useful and hope that we can serve you better in near future.
