The receiving staff, comprised of two ladies, Teaka & Serenity, were one of the best hotel employees that I have ever encountered,and I have traveled worldwide. They answered all of my questions, led me to find a fantastic restaurant and were totally on top of things. I noticed their interactions with other guests were also excellent specially with a couple who solely spoke French. Highly recommend the hotel

The staff was amiable; starting from the moment we walked in to check in, the staff made us and everyone else in the building feel as though we were the most important person to them. The staff made our visit such a joy!

Have stayed several times. Clean room. Limited and simple breakfast. Friendly staff. Only thing that made me pause was the Altar near the front desk where food and drink were left as an offering. I found this really strange especially as there was a sign saying “do not take food from the altar” I’m not sure if Wingate now has altars in their hotels near the front desk

Good place to stay in Houma
We have stayed at this location before. Something about this time just didn't feel and smell as clean as before. It wasn't bad, just not as good as we have experienced in the past.

We enjoyed a clean and comfortable stay. Staff was phenomenal! Rained all day Saturday but staff had a table set with snacks and crafts for kids to have something fun to do. We had the best time hanging out with family in the lobby/breakfast area. Will be back next year for Mardi Gras! 💜💚💛

We had an overall good stay. Had issues with keys and had to have them reset every other time we needed to use them. The noise level from other guests were a little loud late at night, children running and jumping in rooms. Other than that staff was awesome, breakfast and rooms great!

STAYED THERE FOR 8 DAYS. IN 1ST ROOM THE TV DID NOT WORK. MOVED TO 2ND ROOM. THE OWNER NEEDS TO UPDATE -THE BATHTUB WAS CHIPPED AND RUSTED AND HAD SOME KIND OF WHITE FILL IN SUBSTANCE. NO ON SITE WASHER/DRYER. ALSO A LIZARD WAS IN THE BATHROOM!!!! POSITIVE SIDE - FROMT DESK STAFF TIKA, MONIQUE AND KAM WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND WELCOMING. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD CHOICES.
