Parking was too complicated and off-site. Elevator sometimes did not work. Only one outlet for electronic devices in the room. Terrible view onto a back alley from the only window in the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone other than a traveling student.

Please tell your cleaning staff that it's totally unacceptable to open a guest's door before the checkout time (11am), *especially if* the guest has a "do not disturb" placard hung outside! The onsite parking was good, but you need to inform guests where to park *before they arrive*, otherwise they'll have to find somewhere else to park while they check in - and in this area, this is almost impossible.

This Ibis is a perfectly nice/acceptable hotel, though nothing special. It is a good value and located in an area of Grenoble which is within 15 min walking to many of the Grenoble attractions. Breakfast was very nice.

Top class hotel!
This hotel will stay on my top 5 best hotels. We stayed at top floor 9 and the view was fantastic. We spent most our time looking at the mountains. My friends wants to visit this hotel after my recommendation. I will be back next week!

Poor housekeeping and stagnant air
Air conditioning/fan in the room did not work, so it was very stuffy and moist (no ventilation of bathroom post shower). I could open the window but it was raining and moist outside too. Room was serviced the first day - my used towels were removed, but not replaced - so only left with 1 towel. Second day I put the sign on the doorknob to make up the room. When I got back that night, the sign was set to DND...and the room was not made up. I was in room 300 which is separated from the rest of the rooms. Unsure why someone would make there way to this part of the hotel to play a prank. Likely housekeeping forgot to do my room, realized late and switched the sign so they wouldn't have to service my room. Irritating.

Reception guy was nice and polite. Room was very dirty. Dust everywhere no mentioning dust under the bed. Balls of dust ! Plus someone’s underwear was found there. Room big time to small for 2 adults and 1 child with one small window facing back of building. We haven’t got room even for our little hand luggage! In one word- horrible !

Grenoble city center ibis
Great location in Grenoble city center. Rooms are small and the ac was fixed so that it couldn’t turn the temperature down to a comfortable level. I had to get my own fan. Otherwise it was clean with a friendly staff. Zillions of restaurants and cafes everywhere. Close to high tech locations, the tram, and universities. A small homeless camp was established just outside but it was not a problem.

Budget hotel but let down by the details.
We booked a room for 3 persons, and one bed was a sofabed. There were not enough towels for all 3 of us and we had to request more towels and pillows from reception. The Shower gel dispenser was empty so don't appear to be checked during cleans. At 11.30pm we were woken by a phone call from the bar asking if we wanted a drink as they were closing??!! When we mentioned it at checkout however the receptionist told us it must have been another guest, but the call was definitely from the barstaff.

Rainy days
It was a rainy Sunday. The hotel is located downtown so most everything was closed. Thought we would go to the Bastille by gondola. Don't waste your time. The Bastille is closed. Although advertised as a great thing to do in Grenoble. You can only get into the restaurant and snack bar. The ride wasn't worth the money.

We came across the most horrible waitress ever who didn't wait and basically scowled at us from the moment we had the temerity to walk in. There was no salt, no butter, no milk, basically the very things she was presumably paid to keep stocked up.

We had decided to visit our nine year old grand-daughter in Grenoble last weekend (29-31th May). We booked a room for 3. The Hotel was very well situated near the park, shops, restaurants and places of local interest. The room itself was a bit small for 3 but as we just slept there it really didn't matter. It was quiet, clean and comfortable and for what we paid for the 2 nights really good value for money.The room does lack a few of the little extras like there was no tea making facilities although the breakfast was pretty good if you like a continental breakfast. Overall it is what it says on the label, a good three star hotel.

Hôtel très bien situé, chambre moderne, spacieuse et bien équipée, personnel à l'accueil très sympathique. Deux gros bémols cependant : la douche est un filet d'eau et j'ai dû remplir plusieurs fois une bouteille pour me laver les cheveux. Et réveillée vers 4h30 par les livraisons et déchargements qui ont duré jusqu'à 6h du matin environ... Dommage.

J'avais effectué ma reservation sur le site dimanche, et en arrivant on a pas retrouvé la reservation de ma chambre alors que celle de ma collégue a été retrouvé. Ca commencé mal, par la suite j'ai eu une chambre assez détérioré, porte rafistolé, porte de salle de bain en mauvaise état (voir photo). Première fois que j'ai une chambre à IBIS dans un état pareil. Très décu de mon séjour à Ibis Centre Bastille.
