Proof that you don't always get what you pay for, very disappointing for the room rate. The whole hotel is a 1970s throw-back. Cramped and cluttered rooms, uncomfortable double beds, single pane windows, over bath shower with shower curtain, daisy-chained extension leads, plastic over carpet in hallways, and lack-lustre food.

80th birthday treat
To celebrate her 80th birthday my friend and I travelled to Grantown on Spey for an overnight stay at the Grant Arms Hotel. Having booked 2 single rooms we were expecting quite small sized rooms. Nothing was further from this assumption. Our rooms were very generous, immaculate and with every requirement for a comfortable night. The staff were very pleasant and we both enjoyed the whole experience. Roll on my 80th!! We'll be back.
