We were in town for one night and the room was accessible, clean, and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The full breakfast was typical. We were quite satisfied and would stay here again.

Wonderful Place To Stay!
This was a pleasant experience from the moment I checked in, until I checked out. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bed linens and towels were exceptionally clean and had no odors. The paint and carpet were well maintained, and the air conditioner worked well and did not have an odor when running. The front desk staff were friendly, and the baked cookies offered upon check-in were a nice touch. I appreciated the local newspaper offered at the front desk. The breakfast offered had good options, and the area was kept clean and available as advertised. The property was well-maintained as well.

Small hotel in a small town, we were pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms, attentive staff, great breakfast. The breakfast area was even decorayed for autumn, a very homey touch.

The staff was always so nice and it was quiet the whole time we were there. The pool was a good size, only went to 4ft deep in the middle and 3ft on the ends. A lot of close parking and we could see our car from where we were which was a plus. Breakfast didn’t have many options.

We got a room for invalids witch we are not. And I didn’t complain because room was fine and I didn’t see a shower until later at night. By that time I didn’t want to pack my stuff and move ( I was on vacation, right?). We were spending only nights in a room and all we needed was bed and shower so we just pushed through. But the question remains: why did she put us in that room? Hotel wasn’t packed!

Good evening! The hotel only has 39 rooms and out of the 39 rooms, 4 of those are single bed rooms. One of those single rooms is a Handicapped King, single queen room and the last 2 rooms are King Whirlpool rooms. I apologize if you were unable to receive a single room but our hotel is on a first come first serve basis. With summer activities the hotel is sold out on the weekends. I hope next time your visit can be with the room you desire. Have a safe and wonderful summer!

The hallway to our room smelled terrible. Our room had two queen beds and we wanted a king. The breakfast was good and the staff asked for our opinion on breakfast, which was encouraging.

This is a huge shout out to the manager Malinda at Edgewood and the staff. They are by far the best !!! My husband and I live in North Carolina but we travel to Fairbury about once a yr to visit family. For the past 3 yrs Malinda and her staff make our stay so inviting and welcome The rooms are clean the beds are comfortable the breakfast is delicious.and the cookies are a sweet surprise. Thank you all for all your hard work and your incredible hospitality

Comfy but beware of the fees!
Overall it is a nice hotel. We had to stay in a handicapped room (Room 101). The shower made a extremely annoying noise but it was fixed by changing the setting on the shower pressure. The breakfast was ok. Nothing too exciting. Please beware that when you book through a travel service that they will charge you the entire fee even though you already paid a deposit. They do release it later but those on a tight budget can be upset when you are out $70 during your stay.

We've stayed in a lot of budget-priced hotels/motels during our travels across the US. This one is the best by far, in this price class. Very clean and well maintained, and friendly staff. It is worth driving a little bit further to stay here!

This is a fairly new motel and it was nice, but, for the price, should have been better. We had a hard time controlling the heat. Set it on 68 but it kept going over 71 and hotter, so we just shut the heat off during the night. Towards moring the room got too chilly. There was no lid on the toilet. When in the bathroom we put a bath towel over the toilet seat to make sure nothing fell into it.
