It was okay but…
I would say it’s very beautiful setting, nice view to the lake. The kitchen, living room area is very Dark not hardly any lights and not very clean at all! Dust in the screens of the windows & under furniture & beds. Kitchen table wobbled while we ate. The “game room” is a dirty garage! The ping pong table was broken! For the price that is paid I am being generous giving it a 4. In my opinion the only positive was the view.

Another wonderful stay!
This is the fifth year our family has stayed here, There are twelve of us from 7years old to 76. The house and property are well maintained and comfortable. Brad, the owner, is great to work with. One of the things I especially like is that the lake is very shallow at the pier. Our kids can play in the water close to shore. Every year we rent a pontoon for the week and dock it at the pier. Lake Koshkonong is beautiful and not too busy.

Best family trip ever!
We had our annual cousins weekend here where we brought all the kids to see their cousins. It was the best house we have rented for this. There was so much room and different hang out areas, for different age groups. There was lots of open space for running around and the garage was so fun that even the rainy day didn’t stop the fun! The front porch was also great for the parents to sit and relax after chasing the kids all day. House was clean and well stocked. The management was so helpful and check in was a breeze. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family vacation house.

We rented this property because it looked like one of the nicer listings available within a short drive Milton. The house was great we were able to have big family dinners everyday. The garage game room was a nice reprieve, especially for my son. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The fireplace was fantastic. We all sat in front and played cards and board games every night. We didn’t have the best weather, so we didn’t really have much use of the lake but the view is spectacular! Would rent again when visiting family.

Great Family Getaway
This was a meet-up destination for Thanksgiving/Christmas with family from Michigan, Minnesota and Colorado. Cozy atmosphere with three gathering spots large enough to accommodate all ten of us! Home was well-equipped with all necessities. Communication with owner was too-notch!

Great weekend getaway
The house was great. Very spacious and comfortable. The two front decks and fire pit out back were awesome hangout spots. The ‘game room’ in the garage was an added bonus. Area was nice and quiet. We even met the next door neighbor. You can tell it’s an area where neighbors look out for one another. Loved it. Will definitely be back.

Fun annual girls trip
Our big group needed to find a new place this year and we wanted to be near water. This house was beautiful and offered the perfect stay for our annual girls trip. The games in the garage were an added bonus. The lake was surprisingly shallow and we could stand up quite a ways out from the pier. The park was great for our games and activities. Owners were very helpful! Would definitely recommend.

Multi-family lake vacation
The property was wonderful. It really is such a nice, comfy, and cozy home for many people. The 4 bedrooms all had large and comfortable beds. The 3 seating areas with tv's were so so helpful when kids couldn't agree on what to watch. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathrooms were large and clean. The upstairs porch had such a pretty view of the lake, as did the downstairs screened-in porch. We wished that the screened in porch was a little cleaner, as the cobwebs and spiders were abundant, but also understand it is a constant battle being on a lake. The garage was a wonderful place for the older kids to hang out and the fridge out there was a great and needed addition. We loved the fire pit with the many chairs to accommodate everyone. The street was quiet and lots of empty space for kids to play in the field. If you are looking for a place for little ones to play in the sand or in the water, this was not a great option. We would have loved a ladder at the end of the pier so we could have easily gotten in and out of the water. We did however take a 10 minute car ride to the beach bar in the campground and absolutely loved it. Such a fun place and the kids loved the beach. We also rented a boat nearby to go tubing, which was a really easy process and the boat was amazing. It was easy to pull the boat up to the pier at the house.

Found a great little getaway in Lake Koshkonong. Very clean, quiet, peaceful, with a beautiful view of the lake. Will be coming back. Owners are very thoughtful and courteous. Even had a personal boat ride to island bar and grill. Owners are very helpful and quick to answer questions :)

Great place for large family!
We stayed here last year and enjoyed this year just as much. We use this as our family Christmas get-together and it's a great location for a large family. The fireplace makes it very cozy and overall the house is stocked well with all of the amenities you could need. Very homey and communication with the managers was awesome. Highly recommend!

Nice house with everything you need. Nice view of the lake, quiet, peaceful, enough city to sleep for 12 people. Оne minus no dishwasher, but there is a washing machine and dryer.

College friend reunion
There are 10 college friends in our group and we are spread all over the Midwest now and have gotten together once a year since we graduated. This year we chose to stay here at the Edgerton lake house and it did not disappoint. We had a great time as we always do, but when we get together it would be impossible to not have a blast. We are the best group of friends that none of you will ever meet! There was plenty of room for 10 adults and the house was in great condition and well stocked with supplies. We especially enjoyed using the fire pit for nightly bonfires and also having drinks on the screened porch. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for a getaway.

Great house BUT
Weather may have been the chief detractor. Park for kids was closed, no swings for kids. No pier no fishing. Had to drive to beach which was okay, but "clubhouse" was not available for bathrooms etc. Fortunately the house offered much in the way of offering indoor activities with air hockey, ping pong and other games in wonderful garage.

We are pleased that you enjoyed the house and the game-garage. As you know, we were in constant contact with you during this difficult time on Lake Koshkonong with alternative ways to enjoy the area given the poor weather. We try our very best to make everyone's vacation the best possible. However, there are things we cannot control, and one is the weather. From the Fall of 2018 until the Summer of 2019, we experienced the 5th highest water levels on the lake in history. The lake is normally 6.5 feet, but for months it was over 10 feet. It crested at 11.5 feet. Due to this, we could not put in our piers as it would not be safe to go out there if the pier was underwater. The other thing we cannot control is when the Maple Beach Association opens or closes the park, swing sets, etc. Due to many factors, including the water levels, the park did not open this year until after July 4th, 2019." Great experience
I just got home after spending a week at this house. This is the third year in a row that my family and I have stayed there for a week. There are eleven of us, age 3 - 72, and we all love it. It's very clean and comfortable. It's in a quiet neighborhood on the lake. We rent a pontoon for the week and dock it at the private pier. The house is stocked with everything we need.

Perfection in Edgerton
I reserved this location for use by 3 families (6 adults & 6 kids) and we loved the home and location. Located on a quiet, somewhat hidden road, there is very little noise or traffic to bother you during your stay. The park across the street provided plenty of space for our families to spread out and enjoy the weather. Home had plenty of space to support our needs and the garage was a wonderful escape for the adults once the kids went to bed (kid ages 3-6). Our only issue had to do with the screened door for the garage, which was broken on the one side so we only used it one night. This may have been in our interest as the one night we did open it the gnats were quite bothersome as they were quite attracted to the lighting. Lake is perfect for kids of this age as there was a "sandbar" we were able to boat to (rented from Anchor Inn) which allowed for the adults to stand while the kids were in no danger due to shallow water. Overall the lake is no deeper than 7-8 ft! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and location, and would consider staying here again.

Well kept and clean; limited closet space
First the pros: The house was quite sufficient for our needs with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. It also had a twin trundle bed upstairs in the sitting area off the upper balcony, but we didn't need it.. The garage had ping-pong, air hockey, Foosball and card tables. There was a screen that could be lowered when the garage door was up. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. There was plenty of shampoo & conditioner provided, but the body wash was almost empty in the downstairs shower. We did find another bottle in the laundry room, so it all worked out ok. Now for the cons: There is limited closet space. We reserved this house for my family to attend my sons wedding, and I had a dress that I needed to hang to keep wrinkle free. There is a small wardrobe in one of the downstairs bedrooms that worked, but there wasn't room in it for my husband's suit and shirt. His hung in the downstairs bathroom. There is a narrow closet in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and the other one had no closet, only a dresser. Finally, there are cameras in the screened downstairs porch, the upstairs balcony, and aimed at the garage. When we arrived, the lawn care service was finishing up. My husband and I went in to the house and looked it over. We noticed that the lower portion of the screen on the porch nearest the garage was on the floor. The next morning, we were discussing it and said we would notify someone about it when we left, but would keep the doors shut at night to keep bugs out of the house. We left to do some sightseeing, and when we returned, we found that the screen had been repaired. Personally, this gave us a very unsettled feeling to know that someone had been in the house without our knowledge while we were out. We had left some things in the house that if we had been notified someone was coming, we would have either taken with us or changed our plans to be there. We wondered the rest of our stay if there were microphones in the cameras. That feeling of a stranger in a space we were paying for plus the glass doors in front not having curtains or blinds left us somewhat unsettled in the evenings. The only other caution is the gravel road in front of the house could use a new layer, since there are several holes that need filling.

We had our family of 8 plus babies and this house worked out great.
Location was easy to get to. The house layout worked well with 4 bedrooms and three different sitting areas. We had room for everyone to hang out together or go to a area to have a quiet place if needed. The game area in the garage was awesome we had many laughs while playing games. We did use the grill outside and that worked out well also. Our family has already said they want to come back again next year. Owners did contact us when we arrived to make sure all was well.

This place was great! It had more than enough space for our family of 6 adults and 3 kids and had pretty much anything you'd need during your stay. It was comfortable and the view of the lake is spectacular. I can only imagine staying here in the summer is awesome. Our only complaint is that the fireplace wasn't working which was one of the big draws we had to this place for a February rental. Todd and Elaine were great at responding and did their best to try to troubleshoot it for us but we couldn't get it working. Definitely seemed like an anomaly though as they said the renters before us used it. If the fireplace had been working this would have been a 5 star rental for us! It's a place we'd consider coming back to for sure!

This house was the ideal place to relax and reconnect with family
We all had a wonderful time here. The house was well maintained, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We had 10 adults and a toddler and infant. Everyone slept comfortably, and we loved that there were many different areas of the house we could hang out. The only complaint we had, which has nothing to do with the house itself, is we wished the lake was nicer. Lake koshkonong is very large, but SHALLOW! So the lake is mucky, and full of algae and stinky. We were hoping to do more swimming and water sports. Overall we would come back to this property again, the decor, the accommodations, and the attention to detail were all perfect!
