Four of us just returned from a fabulous week in Spring. The pictures simply do not do justice to the spectacular setting. Huge glass doors/windows in every room showcase the gorgeous water views, and the two decks allow plenty of space for eating and relaxing outside, whether your preference is sun or shade. It all feels very private, and the deer come right up to the deck! The home is elegantly furnished, to the point that some of the items (rugs, glassware, a few older pieces on the deck) seemed fragile, which made us especially careful. That said, it was all quite comfortable and easy to curl up with a good book or to watch the Olympics. We cooked several meals in the amazing kitchen, and enjoyed them on the deck overlooking the water! The bathrooms were modern and the beds were comfortable. We loved the kayaks and paddleboard, and it was helpful to have Andrea's membership for nearby beach access. The neighborhood is very quiet and walkable, and within easy driving distance of some great shops, restaurants and markets.
The only improvement we can think of is a list of instructions for guests, to include things like internet access, house rules, beach access, and departure information. Visitors to the Hamptons should be aware that cell service is spotty. We did have some problems when we first arrived because there were no instructions for the home's internet, and because of poor cell service it took us awhile to contact Andrea. But once we connected with her, she was quick to respond as always, and we quickly discovered that we had everything we needed for a great week.
Andrea is an attentive and gracious host, and we absolutely loved this home. We hope to return again soon!
