This hotel did not meet the description of facilities as per my booking. Not an Ibis Hotel No working Air Conditioning in room No working Wi-Fi in room Tv size not 32’’ Toilet almost unusable due to close proximity to wall.

I thought the toilet paper was incredibly rough and the cheapest type. No bars of soaps, just a shower but it would’ve been good to have small bars of normal hotel soaps. The maid didn’t change the sheets all week.

Air conditioning was very poor in the room (it was 28° and room was stuffy with AC running all day) but other than that no fault at all! Staff were incredibly helpful and happy to assist in any way possible! 😊

Good value for money
Value for money. It’s close to the train station, and cheap. The area is what you expect for the location, bit rough around the station but the hotel is fine for a overnight stay. The room is on the small side, but at least it has aircon which seems rare in Europe.

Very good and close to the station
Very good location only a few minutes walk from the station. It is what we've come to expect from Ibis - no frills but comfortable, quiet, clean and very good wi-fi/internet access. We would certainly stay here again.

Clean but basic
Rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The room was rather cold and the heating was hardly sufficient. Erery thing is really basic, even a glass of the bathroom is missing.

Great value hotel
Whilst I have stayed in better hotels before, I have also paid for the privilege. For the price of the rooms, you cant go wrong with this hotel. I have stayed here a few times now for various trips around the Rheinland (mostly to Dortmund and Koln) so the location was brilliant only 5 mins walk from the HBF. The hotel was clean and comfy - perhaps the rooms could be slightly bigger but for a comfy, good value base for a weekend of sightseeing it is brilliant.

We were on our honeymoon and we must say this hotel was very disappointing. From the outside it looks very run down but when you get to the lobby you feel you have hope. Once in the room, it was very basic. There is not decor and the room is very small. The air conditioner stopped working at night. The area around feels a bit sketchy. After the first night, we decided to leave and not complete our stay.

Affordable and Convenient for Station/Transport
Made numerous stays at this hotel. Each time my key driver is it's usually on the cheaper side of options available, and I need proximity to the main train station for speed of getting around on overground and underground trains, trams ete. That saves me so much time an walking. Breakfast very well presented and sufficient options, and quality. Rooms ok, Could be more stylish but clean and comfortable. Bathroom is very small, shower not bath, but it works ok for me. Staff welcoming and helpful. More than happy to return again. UBahn to Old Town is just 3 or 4 stops and very regular service. Central Bus station only a short walk away too. No Tea or Coffee maker in the room unfortunately.
