The house was amazing. Very beautiful. Nice neighborhood and environment. Felt like we were at home. I had a slight misunderstanding of check out time which was totally my fault and I’m so appreciative that the owner was understanding and patient with me 20/10 I would love to be back

solidly fine place to stay. basement was scary and smelled moldy. kitchen was dirty, everywhere was dusty, and we found some ants in our bed. it was big, good price, and good location. for a group of 6 late 20s friends was fine as a landing pad, but my mom would have hated it.

The property was clean and presentable. Appliances were outdated the stove had an eye that was not working. The refrigerator door was broken. There were only three bedrooms but we made it work. The neighborhood was relatively safe and quiet. I would rent again.

Fit the bill

One of the bedroom had all broken furniture. Neighborhood is not exactly where advertised. Game system advertised not there. Otherwise it served its purpose. It was close enough to our family. Enough space for each person. And all the amenities made it work. Will rent again after repairs are made.

We are originally from the area and came into town for a much-needed visit with friends and for the Tigers opening day. The house met our needs. It was clean and possessed the quirky charm of an older home having been modernized to match modern expectations. Our biggest concern was that the property is NOT in University District as is advertised. It is several blocks away. We know University, having friends that live there, and are comfortable in the area. Even though we were just several blocks away, the vibe of a neighborhood can change in just a few blocks and we didn’t know the area. As it turned out, the neighborhood was fine. We had no issues. I’d recommend this property for people wanting to visit Detroit. We have three teenagers and the house comfortably accommodated all of us.

Great place for my friends to gather

My friends and I were looking for a larger place that could accommodate eight people. This one is listed as that and is certainly large enough for it. The house was clean and came with all the things you need for your stay. The only thing I really had an issue with was the number of beds. There were three twin beds, and one queen (I believe that was the size). The other places to sleep were on the couches. One couch was full-sized and the other was a love seat. I wouldn't call the love seat a great place to sleep unless you're a child. I happened to bring a cot a long and I'm glad I did because I wouldn't have had a place to truly lay down. That being said, I would rebook this house next year when we do our yearly get-together and just make sure to bring some extra cots. The room I slept in was big enough for a couple of extra beds.

There was only 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. The beds where not very comfortable. The towles where dark in color so I did not use them because they did not seem fresh. There where no dishes in the house. The oven was so dirty that it could not be used.The location was nice. The location was the nicest thing about the house.

Relaxing

Traveling with 4 teens can be tricky when finding a place to stay. This lovely house had a room for each teen to relax and watch tv, enough room for everyone, including 3 bathrooms, a family room and a dining room. Neighborhood is quiet with everything located right down the street. Highly recommend.

Nice enough. Check-in was simple. Stay was mid. The towels were kind of questionable and the home wasn’t thoroughly clean, with dirt and crumbs on floor and residues and leftover trash on surfaces, and was pretty light on utensils, etc. for a place that is supposed to house 5 (only had max. 4 forks). Basement smelled strongly of cigarettes. The bed and couches were comfortable and the TV and dining area was really nice. I don’t think this could sleep 8 without people needing to sleep on the couches so that’s something to consider. Good bones and good potential, but needs more attention.
