Small rooms (VERY small rooms), but they were clean, cool and the bed was comfortable, and the locality was amazing being close to Hakata wharf and the street food street down towards Canal City. A great hotel for young people.
The staff were nowhere to be soon but I imagine that's kind of the point (the check-in is done by automated dinosaurs and we didn't see a single staff member in our two nights there). Overall, a very quirky and cool vibe.

Lovely stay at the gate. Room is quite large for Japan standards. I love it that the shower and toilet are separate. Location is excellent, right above the Tenjin underground with lots of shops and food options. Lobby is on the 19th floor offering great views of the city. Breakfast is a semi buffet with 3 options to choose from. There is a lounge on the 18 floor for guest to relax with simple snacks and beverages. The only gripe I have is you have to change lifts to get to your room.

Had to wait forever for the lifts to get to our floor. But great otherwise. Breakfast buffet was also top tier and the staff were great. Very kid friendly
