Staff was nice but the room wasn't anything to get excited about. The microwave didn't work, and we went and bought our own blankets because the bedding in the room was dirty and covered in hair. We only ate the breakfast they offer once because it was so bad i threw it away. We showed up to the breakfast 5min after it opened and the food was already cold and stale. pretty sure it was left over from the day before.

The front desk staff was a bit off putting. We asked if it was possible to check in early (around 1:30) and she was very curt, saying she wouldn’t have anything ready until at least 3p. Which is official check in time, I totally understand, but it was the way she said it. She also made a comment about the fact that we booked the room through a third party and seemed annoyed. Again, it was the way she said it, almost like she was blaming us. The room was not super clean, there was dust and random smudges on many of the table tops, there was mold on the vinyl panels in the shower and the refrigerator was dirty on the outside. The sleeper sofa was a bit gross and overall, it could have been A LOT cleaner.

Noise was a problem as we had a room directly across from the elevator. The property is dated and the bathroom needs updated. Shower doesn’t clean up well. The sink is too low.

The mixed reviews kind of made me nervous about my choice. But I am so glad I booked here. I have 2 kids and they enjoyed the pool. I liked the pool because there was no deep end it is perfect for kids! Hotel is very family friendly. Free Breakfast was yummy and front desk staff was very helpful. Suite I stayed in was clean and property and area was clean and felt safe! No complaints.

I was in town with my daughter for a dance competition at the Upper Arlington HS, this Homewood Suites location was a short 15 minutes, maybe less, drive away. The area was beautiful and we felt safe in the hotel. Clean, quiet, and comfy bed! Only 2 negatives: 1) the drapes let in a bit of light where they come together so bring a binder clip to close the gap. 2) light from the hallway come in around the door, I hung a garment bag on the security lock bar and used the 2 rolls of paper towels and cloth towels to block light coming in from under the door, it really helped darken the door. Great selection of food at breakfast, arrive before 9AM to get oatmeal. I would definitely stay here again and look into them for a stay elsewhere. If you have time go see The Dancing Hares sculpture in Ballantrae Community Park, 3 miles away and the 109 human-sized ears of corn art display. Trivia...dd you know Dublin is home to the Wendy's restaurant headquarters?

From the moment we walked in the side door with our bags the facility smelled like an ethnic restaurant. Our room had a very strong unpleasant odor of Indian food. When we got there our door to our room was propped open with the deadbolt which left us assuming the odor started there and they were trying to air it out. There were stains on the carpet and furniture. The soap containers they supply were full but dirty from the previous tenants. The pool Area was nice. Staff was pleasant and helpful with extra towels and bedding. We chose this hotel for the extra room a 2 bedroom suite supplies but will not stay here again.

I did not like that they would not give me my deposit back. They kept saying they gave it back but actually never did, then the manager would never call me back. Not a good feeling.

Dangerous conditions and mechanical difficulties
The air conditioning didn't work. We had been on the road all day and my husband had to get online to work once we checked into the hotel so moving to another room wouldn't have been convenient. However, I am dealing with an illness and a lot of medication that requires me to use air-conditioning to ease my discomfort. Having their air conditioning not working ruined our stay because I was not able to get any sleep. In addition, the elevator doors open, but the elevator has not come to a complete stop (it's still doing an adjustment) which caused me to trip getting out of the elevator. That is a huge hazard to your guests.

Nice stay, but take your own kitchen pans.
It was a nice place to stay. Would have been better if they had pans to use in the oven. Every other hotel with the kitchen has had the equipment to use. Wasnt notified in advance, otherwise would have planned dofferently.

The hotel is quite dirty and not taken care of. Everything is fairly dilapidated and old. The front desk staff I found to be dismissive and not willing to help, except one woman. Overall I wouldn't stay here again because the experience was fairly negative.

The only downside was they charged me for parking that says it’s complimentary online and they disagreed with me until I showed them proof and they refunded the charge.

Front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. With that said, the hotel as a whole was not so good. The hallway carpets were disgusting. Pretty sure they have never been shampooed since being installed. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with an old, musty smell. The front of the refrigerator was very dirty. Inside the refrigerator did not keep food cold. Our garbage disposal did not work, and the sink was clogged, although they did fix that. The shower door would not stay closed so water kept spring out into the bathroom, I mentioned that, but that however, did not get fixed during our stay. The breakfast was just OK. With that being said, I would never stay here again definitely does not live up to the Hilton name.

Problems with housekeeping. Cleaning rooms is on a two day schedule, but when they clean the room they miss things, like trash cans, replacing coffee machine cups and coffee packets. The trash receptacles in the hallway were frequently overflowing. One day they did not provide the breakfast offered on their website. All related to cutting staff to increase profits.

As for the one day we did not offer a hot breakfast buffet, it was Thanksgiving day and we chose to give our kitchen staff time off to spend with their families. We did, however, provide cold items, such as cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc.

Nice suite. Quiet location. Only negatives were that they do not provide soap to wash hands except the shower gel. Also we were awakened by the fire alarm which was annoying, but I would stay there again.
