Excellent find! Only two nights and wished we could have stayed longer but were unable to change previous commitments. Staff is extremely nice and the hotel is a hidden gem. Our room was spotless and well maintained. Thank you to all.
Perfect position. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful staff. Very well equipped kitchen. No real outdoor space to sit as balcony is very closed in in the apartments.
Perfect base for wonderful Collioure. Beds were comfy (incl sofa bed, like 2 singles!), amazing soundproof so very quiet, air-con, enough kitchen equipment to self-cater simply, stunning high up pool which was well-kept, friendly and helpful hotel staff. 10 mins walk from town, near enough to pop in to shop/beach etc, but quiet. Will be back!

This was our third trip to Colliure, we really love this town !
The hotel was nice but a little out of the way compared to other options. Good proximity to the train station. The room was small but functional, nice balcony and close to the hotel pool.
Receptionist staff were helpful but replenishment of room supplies was inconsistent (coffee, toiletries, clean towels etc) necessitating us to ask for them.
Overall not a bad place to stay but would stay closer to downtown area next time.
We stayed in an apartment situated across the road from the hotel. The hotel is situated a five minute walk to the centre on the hill above the town. It does not have lift and there are a lot of steps to get to the pool so it is only suitable for people who are reasonably fit and like walking. I parked my car up the road in some free parking as the parking on site is 20 euros a day which I thought was expensive. We went late September so it may not have been so easy to do that in August. Collioure is a magnificent town and we loved our 6 night stay in this apartment. I would recommend it. It was well equipped and comfortable, the view from the balcony was a little disappointing butt from the pool terrace it was a panoramic vista of the surrounding hills. No sea views unfortunately but they are only a short walk away.
An amazing hotel in gorgeous Collioure! We greatly enjoyed our stay there in mid- September. Beautiful room with a terrace surrounded by blooming aromatic plants and trees. A view to the hills of Pyrenees with climbing houses and vineyards was stunning. The umbrella on the terrace was very helpful to provide shade during the sunny day hours. The pool on the upper terrace and a jacuzzi provided a great opportunity to relax. The hotel is situated in a close proximity to the train station of Collioure, just mere minutes walk to all attractions - the beautiful downtown, the beach, restaurants, museums and shopping. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The service - impeccable. We also appreciated the laundry service that the hotel provided. We would love to return there on our next trip!
Lovely hotel in beautiful little town. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and well equipped. Outdoor roof top pool with great views was still open and heated. Only downside was no lift but that didn’t really bother us.
ted for a few days. Happy with location. Staff attentive. Room a little on the small side, but very clean and well-appointed. Swimming pool and surrounds very pleasant. Would recommend and will return I hope.
Really nice hotel near the train station and a short walk down to the village and the beautiful bay. Friendly and helpful reception service, who tolerated my schoolgirl French with patience and charm. The crowning glory of this hotel is the heated rooftop pool (a decent size) and hot tub, both of which we made good use of despite the bad weather. We only stayed one night on our way to Spain, but were treated as valued customers. Lovely.
This hotel was very good, our room, balcony and facilities were just right. Lovely breakfast too.
The only down sides were being on second floor with no lift and the actual position of the hotel is a little way from the centre
The car parking which we chose to use was very expensive but otherwise the hotel seems good value.
Lovely hotel; smart, light and stylish. Great rooms with comfy bed and good size bathroom. Had room with balcony and view to mountains. Enjoyed a swim in the hotel pool. Very well looked after; everything kept clean and well maintained. Very helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Within easy walk down a small hill to restaurants, shops and not far from train station.
Beautiful hotel 7 mins walk avove town. Our room, tho small, no 12, had fabulous big balcony looking out to mountains.
There is a gorgeous pool on the roof and Jacuzzi and loungers on a roof top terrace with amazing views over mountains.
Stadf very helpful. Patrice , mgr, told us best beaches to go to for snorkelling nearby.
Only negative is as hotel is expensive i would expect breakfast to.be included but it was extra €13.5 each.this would have cost my husband and i an extra €182 for 7 breakfasts when we only want a croissant and bowl fruit. So we bought croissants and fruit and had them on our balcony every morning, perfect.
it was good. Wifi was slow but at6 am internet worked. Parking charges 16 euros per night so we have to find parking a block away, no big deal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Awesome weather in May.
We honeymooned here for five nights and it was an amazing decision. The pool and hot tub were incredible, the breakfast was delicious, a good variety, and so reasonably priced, and every staff member was a delight to interact with. One particular front desk staff member sent us on our way with a list of recommendations for what to do on the second part of our journey elsewhere in France. Everyone was warm and welcoming, the location was great (walkable to everything) and the overall experience was just great.
We stayed at this Mediterranean hotel for week. Family-run feeling, good breakfast, great pool / jacuzzi area and good (small) rooms. Located on a quiet street just a short walk away from the center of Collioure. Perhaps a bit on the expensive side for the size of the rooms, that can feel quite tight for two people with luggages, and with thin walls and windows and slow, but working wifi, but we settled down quickly. Collioure has the habit of winning you over quick!
Great location. Walk from the train station and walk downtown. Very modern and clean. An excellent breakfast buffet. Great staff. Very helpful and courteous. Rooms are very "compact." Be prepared to walk stairs.
The hotel is close to the train station and a short walk into the centre of Collouire. It was clean and comfortable but seemed overpriced for the quality of the rooms.
Hotel Madeloc is not the easiest hotel to access! It is not far from the station but is uphill, there are stairs to the front door and there is no lift which is made quite clear on Expedia and its website. BUT once you are in your room which is clean, comfortable and modern, you should have no complaints. Breakfast is served in a lovely light room opening on to a terrace, there is a huge selection of food, the pastries 'home baked' and a very sensible multi-egg boiler. The pool has a wonderful view towards the hills and it is very pleasant to swim and relax high above the street. The staff were extremely helpful and charming, helping our friends with a future booking that was miscommunicated and recommending local restaurants.
We have visited Collioure several times for day trips. We decided to stay overnight to experience the evening and night atmosphere. We weren't disappointed. This hotel is in a perfect location as long as you can walk up hill. It is clean with friendly staff who speak English. Pool is heated and it's nice to take a dip after a day exploring the picturesque Collioure. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
Hotel Madeloc is 10 mins walk up a hill with poor pavements. The receptionist said people prefer out of town because it is quieter but our stay was not quiet with a series of dustcarts; road cleaners; delivery lorries immediately outside our window at 6.30 each morning. The hotel strangely make it very difficult to check in for your flight home. The hotel is very clean and functional otherwise.
This is a wonderful hotel slightly off the beaten path in Colioure. Everything was top notch except that the hotel has lots of stairs (it's built on the side of a hill) but no elevator. All the staff were super.
Fantastic location just 500metres from collioure centre. A clean and comfortable small hotel, terraced heated pool with glorious views was a bonus. The staff were marvellous, giving directions and places to visit In Spain, which is only a short distance away. No hesitation recommending this hotel.
An excellent small hotel on the hillside 5 mins walk from the centre of Collioure. It doesn't have beach access but few places do. It does have an excellent small pool and pool deck. Parking is limited and should be booked, but you can find roadside parking with a bit of hunting around.
Wonderful second trip to hotel madeloc and the beautiful collioure. We didn't hesitate to book this hotel for a second visit and it didn't disappoint. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.
We spent 3 nights at Hotel Madeloc and thought that it was excellent. Our room was on the third floor and it was clean, well furnished and comfortable with a spacious side balcony with chairs and tables. All of the staff were very pleasant and Jerome was particularly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and the outdoor pool was great. It is situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and the sea but even in 30 degree this was fine. Highly recommended.
Very nice quiet place to stay. Close to train station. The only problem was walking up the hill coming back from downtown since we are an older couple.
Collioure is a special place and we will always have fond memories of it. The room at the Hotel Madrloc was clean and comfortable.
The staff was helpful with suggestions on restaurants and renting paddle boards.
Loved this hotel, especially our amazing balcony which was so nice we only went up to the hotel pool once!! Nice bathroom, good location close to town. If I had one area for improvement I would say I've had better breakfasts in France at other hotels. This was a fairly basic buffet. But it was nice to be able to have breakfast outside. I will definitely return to this hotel in future.
