beautiful house, rural, and very quiet

We loved staying in the house of Pascal, everything was perfect organized, we were welcomed by Agnes, the communication with the owner was very good. The house was cosy and complete, the outside was perfect, many chairs, we had very good weather. A backery and supermarket were nearby. We will come back. Wanneer je tot rust wil komen, moet je hier zijn.

A wonderful peaceful gite

What a well equipped and comfortable gite in a beautiful location. We loved relaxing in the garden and there was a great selection of chairs and loungers. Beautiful trees provided shade throughout the day when needed and there was a wonderful view of the forest. The soundtrack was provided by birds and cow bells. The gite is located in a little hamlet a short way away from Charmoille making it feel peaceful but not isolated. There is a great Patisserie/Boulangerie in Belleherbe about 5 minutes drive away. In the area there is great walking and by car in every direction you drive through beautiful fields, forests, valleys and towns. We went to Neuchâtel lake in Switzerland one day and also the Besancon which is a wonderful town with an ancient fortress. The gite itself is clearly much loved and looked after by the owner with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a lovely lounge area and bbq outside. The owner is helpful and the lady who met us to take the keys at the end speaks little English but was extremely patient with my terrible French and was very charming and kind. (Her son & daughter showed us round the property when we arrived and explained things very well.) We had a wonderful week and would love to return one day.

Vacances réussies

Nous avons passés une très belle semaine dans une maison agréable et bien équipée. Son implantation dans une grande parcelle de terrain avec des arbres centenaires est idéale pour les enfants. Et pour nous qui aimons les grands espaces et la nature nous avons étés comblés. Quant à notre hôte il a fait preuve d'attention et de disponibilité pour répondre à nos questions et nos besoins éventuels. Et je tiens à souligner la qualité des deux PDF fournis l'un pour se rendre à la location et l'autre fournissant de nombreuses informations pour nous faciliter la vie. Encore une fois merci Mr GACHE .

très beau séjour dans une charmante maison

Cette location est superbe, dans un très bon état et surtout très bien équipée. Si vous venez avec de jeunes enfants, une magnifique bibliothèque permettra de les occuper les jours de pluie et un grand parc arboré les jours de beau temps ! En un mot: parfait !

Mooi huisje in een heerlijk rustige en mooie omgeving

We, gezin met 5 kinderen, hebben twee weken in dit mooie huisje mogen verblijven. De grote tuin biedt genoeg mogelijkheden voor de kinderen om te spelen en ook in de buurt is er voldoende te ondernemen. Zeker als je van bossen en bergen houdt. We hebben ons uitstekend vermaakt en genoten van de omgeving. De aanwezigheid van de platenspeler met de elpee's is een absoluut pluspunt.

Un excellent séjour!

Un excellent séjour dans une maison très confortable entourée d'un très beau parc. La région est très belle avec des promenades à partir de la maison, des monuments et sites à visiter dans les environs (château de Belvoir, Besançon, saut du Doubs, musée Peugeot, fort de Mont Bart, musée de l'horlogerie...) sans oublier bien-sûr les spécialités locales et les visites des fruitières à Comté.

Gewelige locatie

Wij hebben een week lang vakantie gevierd met twee gezinnen met jonge kinderen. En wij hebben genoten van dit huisje en de attente gastvrijheid van de eigenaar. Een heerlijk rustige locatie met bijzonder grote tuin. Binnen vonden wij het huis groter dan lijkt op de foto's. Inrichting en materialen uitgebreid. We hebben veel plezier beleeft aan het luisteren naar oude hits op de platenspeler. Hartelijk bedankt !

Een mooi huis, vlakbij het dorpje Charmoille. Grote woon-eetkamer, complete keuken. Boven drie ruime slaapkamers met prima bedden. Grote tuin,met terras. Het was in de avond een beetje fris, we hebben toen de open haard aan gedaan. Vanuit de woning kun je mooie wandelingen maken. Hulpvaardige eigenaar

Que du bonheur !! quelle calme et quelle belle région Nous avons pu nous approvisionner chez les producteurs locaux (fromages lait et viandes) et c'est vraiment un plus. le temps était avec nous en nous avons pu profiter des alentours (kayak baignade et tyrolienne) la maison est très bien équipée, le jardin est énorme et sans vis à vis, avec en plus le wifi indispensable pour les ados !!! A très bientôt

Une location où on se sent comme chez soi!

Très belle maison, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée où tout est prévu pour qu'on s'y sente bien. Coup de cœur à l'impressionnante collection de 33 tours: quel plaisir à écouter! Propriétaire très à l'écoute du bien être de ses locataires, même si pas présent sur place. Jardin magnifique Allez y les yeux fermés!

Outstanding!

We were two families who came to enjoy the hiking and relaxation of the area. We were so very pleased with this idyllic location and home. The property is considerable - four kids, four adults and a dog easily entertained themselves with ping-pong, reading, playing tag and games. The terrace is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner - there are sufficient table settings for friends and family and the sun is warm and inviting. Parasols are provided for those who prefer a bit of shade. The house is extremely well equipped - nothing is missing! The wi-fi for the citified is efficient. Extra blankets, pillows, cutlery, microwave, even a fondue pot! The fireplace is perfect for those cooler summer evenings and the whole environment is 'gezellig' (=cozy in Dutch). We were welcomed very warmly by a lovely lady to show us the property and well cared for in the first few days to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this property and the area location - the winding roads, hills and towns offer enough engaging & interesting activities for those seeking sport, culture and historical points of interest.

Très belle maison

Nous avons passé deux très belles semaines de vacances dans cette maison. Le jardin est magnifique, entouré de grands arbres, situé dans une très belle région. La maison est joliment décoré et très bien équipé. Tout est en parfait état. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire, attentionné et à l'écoute des vacanciers. "Notre séjour dans cette maison a été formidable. La région est très belle avecbeaucoup de visites et de ballades en forets. La maison est très confortable et le parc est idéal pour la détente et le jeux des enfants. Mr G. est très attentionné à notre confort bien qu''il ne soit pas présent sur les lieux. "Charmant et riche séjou...

"Charmant et riche séjour dans ce petit coin du Doubs, bercé de calme et de sérénité. Le grand espace offert par cette location permet à chacun de trouver ses marques et d’optimiser de trop brefs congés aussi bien à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Un accueil de qualité en l’absence du propriétaire, petits gâteaux et rafraichissements, une présence discrète et efficace en cas de besoin. Malgré une absence physique du propriétaire, ce dernier reste proche notamment lors de l’arrivée sur site, mais également au cours du séjour pour veiller au bien être de ses locataires par quelques appels téléphoniques cordiaux et rapides. Cette maison, que l’on voudrait bien faire sienne, mérite le détour. Bien située pour la découverte de la région Franche Comté, elle permet également de profiter des joyaux offerts par la Suisse très proche (musées, lacs nombreux et autres). Une petite connexion Internet serait peut-être à envisager in situ, mais…. au final ce seul manque permet un « lavage de cerveau » propice à des vacances exceptionnelles. A noter enfin, que rien ne manque en terme d’équipement... hamac compris ! "
