The Borneo Eagle is an exclusive five star hotel - newly launched. The staff are excellent, facilities good - the only issue we had was the plethora of sand flies which caused a lot of issues sitting outside. We talked to the Manager about this and understand a machine is being shipped to deal with this issue - also the beach on the offside of the hotel was covered with plastic bottles and rubbish, which should be cleared on a daily basis to support the high quality nature of the hotel.

Booked the family suite. Room is spacious with individual air con controls for each room. There are dining options nearby property within walking distance. Property is also very close to the airport.

They were unable to give me the tool I booked (months in advance) I had to settle with combining the 2 twin beds instead of my king bed Other than that it was great the breakfast was amazing
