Spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath custom built log waterfront cottage! This property provides island privacy! In true Muskoka fashion experience a 2 min boat ride (boat provided) from the designated mainland parking lot to the large private dock located in front of the cottage. If need be we will happily meet you upon arrival. Bring your own boat and launch for free to access cottage and lake amenities.

Waterfront escape on McVittie Island - Lake Muskoka! Located 10 minutes from downtown Bracebridge. Cottage memories will begin on this island paradise boasting 220 feet of sunset exposure 4 bedroom+loft, and 2 bathroom log home retreat with wrap around covered porch!

This cottage is fully stocked and comfortably furnished. All bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linens are provided for your stay. We also have basic spices, olive oil, tea and coffee provided with compliments.
This is a family friendly cottage, and is not suitable for party weekends.

Enjoy the large dock surrounded by shallow water, ideal for young kids and deeper water off the front of the dock. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for playing, entertaining, and relaxing. Main floor laundry, fully equipped kitchen and various water toys (2 paddle boats, 2 kayaks- one single and 1 double seated) 2 SUP boards to explore.

The property is level and private; complete with all the amenities such as: propane BBQ, fire pit and lots of outdoor seating to name a few. Soak up the sun all day on the dock, enjoy fishing, swimming and boating on Lake Muskoka, Rosseau and Joseph. Evenings around the fire, a sunset sky each night await you!

Boaters bringing your own boat have access to the beautiful Muskoka Lakes via the free boat launch located at the same parking area with ample parking for trailers.

Open fires in fire pit only please & check burn restrictions for area before you arrive. Fireworks are not permitted. Please leave the cottage as you found it, tidy and with all garbage disposed of per the check-out checklist. The initial cleaning fee pays for professional cleaners to prepare the cottage for you. A check-out clean may be arranged for an additional fee; otherwise you are expected to leave the cottage as you found it, clean and in tidy condition.

Check-in at 4pm. Check-out at 11am.
Sleeps 8-10 people. Ideally for families or 8 adults Max.

Bath towels, Linens and Wifi included.
Please brink your own beach towels.
Cottage is on lake water. Please bring your own drinking water. We do supply various size lifejackets however, you may prefer to bring your own lifejackets to ensure proper fit - as per boat bylaw.

All potential guests must complete a rental agreement.
Please specify when booking if you have a boat licence and/or if bringing your own boat.

Any questions can be answered by phone, email, texts at any time.
We will greet guests upon arrival on check-in date, however won't interact with our guests during their stay unless it is necessary.

100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling between 30 and 60 days before check-in. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.
