This hotel… I wanted to love it. The walls were so paper thin you could hear cars driving in the street. Never mind hear every word of your neighbors conversation. The room was cold, the heat did turn on fast. But with out it running constant it would get cold. The bathroom shower had no curtain or door…. And also NO hot water!!! I mean no hot water it was terrible. And with no door or curtain it was so cold! My husband and I thought maybe it was a small hot water tank and someone else had just showered.So we decided to wait and shower in the morning. 5am still no hot water just warm. It was anything but enjoyable. My husband also tried to make coffee and blew the breaker, so no coffee in our room. Not so bad because they did offer Continental breakfast and had coffee available. The view was stunning the area beautiful and quiet. But the hotel felt more like a fancy cardboard box fort. Needless to say we would not stay at this hotel again.

Crystal, We are sorry to hear about your experience during your stay. This is certainly not at the level of service we expect for our guests. There is a staff member at the front desk, from 7am until 10pm, who is prepared to assist with any issues. There is also an after-hours emergency number in the rooms. We were fully booked & did not get any other reports of hot water issues during this time.We recommend giving us a call when choosing accommodations. This gives the opportunity to go over the details of your stay, and we can make sure you are in an accommodation/ area that best suits your needs. This is a lovely place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice and very clean. Although they did not clean during our stay, they left fresh towels every day and took our trash - this worked great for us.

The property location was a bit tricky to find after a 5 hour drive. We follow the sign and first hit the restaurant first, then the very friendly staff told us to go to the tiny hut across the parking lot with a small sign ‘Office’. The lady at the reception had a local, ‘know all’ attitude and she wasn’t friendly (and quite rude sometimes) to us. after checked in, again we are directed to drive to the other side of the road (where the lake is) for the actual room.

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Bomoseen Lodge: spacious, comfortable rooms, beautiful view of the lake! Dog friendly, lodge stuff gracefully agreed to walk our dog when we went to ski for a day for a small fee which was a lifesaver. My kids enjoyed grab and go breakfast. Close to both Okemo and Killington and a great restaurant right on lodge premises made it a comfortable and fun stay!

It's a great location and the room was very nice. A couple detractors: the continental breakfast had no seating or tables and not big enough for more than 3 or four people at a time (10x10 space), TV volume was hard set to max of 10 (I could not even hear it if heater was on). Also, not exactly sure what I got for "resort" surcharge. It is a nice place and total price was worth it.

Very satisfied
We really enjoyed our stay .. walls are thin however -but we were lucky it’s not that busy. I would like to suggest quiet hours after 10pm. Overall the space was great for our small family and convenient to 35-45 min from Killington/Pico… highly recommend the Taproom pizzas !

Clean but noisy
Very clean and tidy place. Potentially just renovated. However, stayed on the first floor and sound insulation was horrible. We heard all our neighbors including upstairs. Junk fees was a bit of a turn off..don’t understand why there was a ‘resort fee.’

We skied Killington for the weekend and had our stay at the lodge. The maple cottage was great. It was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The king sized bed was amazing. We had dinner both nights at the tap room and everything was delicious. I will definitely return.

Great price, comfortable, nice view.
It was the third time I went to that place. Room are very comfortable & clean. Great view from the lake and just a 3 minute walk to the restaurant. They do serve a great food (burgers, flatbreads, salads). Price is very reasonable. We want to come back during the summer time to explore the area (hiking, kayaking, etc).

Buyer be ware. Whether or not you paid for a room with two beds and a lake view if you are traveling with a pet you will get a room that smells like old fried food with paper thin walls and a view of the parking lot.

Happy I'm Not There Anymore!
Some of the staff were very nice, but that's about all the positive I can say. Rooms look nice upon first glance, but you quickly realize how very, VERY cheaply made and constructed everything is -- like it's all plastic. Gross. So here's a non-exhaustive list on why I'll never stay again: There is no cell service. I have Verizon and could not make calls or send texts. They should really let ppl know this when then book. A toddler could break open the (single) lock on that door. A little security would be appreciated (esp since my phone didn't work!) The water never got hot. Bathroom sink wouldn't drain. I was there for two days and set the heat to 70. It never got past 62. Televisions barely work and operate in 480i There is absolutely ZERO sound insulation here, and I really do mean zero. I could hear everyone, and everything happening in the building. I honestly hope this place goes under.
