It was my second stay at the hotel. The first experience was good, which prompted me to book the hotel again. Sadly, the experience this time round was below expectations.
I have requested, months in advance, not to be given a corner room. Still, my room was all the way in the dark aisle, beside the emergency exit where they kept their room make-up trolley. Every morning, without fail, I would hear the door of the emergency exit slamming from 8am onwards. It didn't help having a bunch of inconsiderate 'neighbours' staying on the same floor. They would leave the doors of their adjacent rooms opened, allowing their children to scream and run along the corridor. And I have absolutely no idea why they couldn't bring along the card keys with them. Every night, they will knock on their door and expect whoever in the room to open it.
Room wise, the bathing space is a mere 1m by 0.5m at max, with a pillar getting in the way. There was no way one could bathe without coming into contact with the absolutely disgusting shower curtain, which gave off a moldy odour. So I have to keep the toilet door shut to avoid having the stench in the room.
I did my laundry at my usual shop and they delivered my clothes to the hotel when I was out. When I checked with the male staff, he brushed off my enquiry and told me that the hotel did not receive any laundry. I had to look around to find the big packet of clothes with clear label (by the shop) lying just beside the reception. Not even a sorry
