Access to property is about a 10 minute walk to train station. Room is clean. Temperature of room is preset so took a while for room to get comfortable

Very nice hotel, close to the train station, many dining and shopping options close by, also room is very comfortable and clean, very friendly and helpful front desk staff. There is a microwave on the 4th floor and a kettle in the room. I would stay here again

Bathroom was terrible
Not impressed. I have payed 4 times less for another hotel and was more impressed. The bathroom was very old, damaged and covered in mildew.

Overall comfortable but couldnt find AC
We took the last shinkansen from Tokyo and did mid-night check in. The receiptionist were swiftly welcoming and processing everything smoothly. The room is standard "Japanese small" room but shockingly clean! I came when the weather was soo good (colder compare to Tokyo) so the room was very comfortable for me. But boyfriend couldnt sleep without AC so he couldnt sleep!

Shockingly bad wifi - rest OK
Everything was fine except the wifi. The wifi is shockingly poor, slow, and sometimes inexistant in some parts of the room. For a hotel in the 21st century, that's just not acceptable! The rest was fine.

The pillows are stiffer than the mattress, ironically! But very comfortable, quiet and helpful!

Was just a stop over on our way to Sapporo pleasant hotel, staff friendly. The mattress's bead replacement very soft around the edges but otherwise quite good

The hotel is nicely located 5 mins walk to the train station, is near the shopping district, especially the Augashinsen Market, where you can get fresh sea foods. Tourist attractions around Aomori station are just 2-5 mins walk distance. Hotel staffs are polite, the room is nice as it been refurbished for re-open in 2019.

Easy check in. The staff spoke enough English to teach me how enable the power in the room which I was completely ignorant to, and overall very friendly. The hotel itself is slightly dated but the facilities are well kept and always clean. The size is par for any "business hotel", so make sure you are aware of what you are booking. Aomori station is a few minutes walk to the west making exploring Aomori province very easy. Every day I was given two free bottles of water, which came in handy after drinking the night before. Highly recommended and worth the price.

Aomori station NOT SHIN AOMORI
Everything was OK, my only gripe was that the Hotels website stated that it was a 5 minute walk from the SHIN AOMORI station. This was the primary reason for me booking this hotel as we had a early train to catch the next morning and wanted to stay within a short walk of SHIN AOMORI.. FYI the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from AOMORI STATION, not 5 min. We had heavy luggage so being in close proximity of both shin aomori and the train station was of high priority. needless to say we were disappointed and ended up taking a taxi.

3-star hotel .... 5-star price!
Hotel is acceptable as 3-star hotel though rates quite ridiculous (>$300/night) due to Sakura season(?) Staff need (a lot of) training on how to make guests feel welcome - service is efficient but lacks any warmth or sincerity. Breakfast is very very average!

Good place to stay at
Good place for a solo traveller. Good value for money. Was in a smoking room because it was the only thing they had avalible. And it was not bad at all to my surpice. Cant wait to come back.

Small room, close to station, Aomori bay.
Small Japanese room expected in relation to price. Not much room around bed and bathroom. Semi-double bed against wall on one side - inside person must crawl out foot of bed or over outside person. Good location close to train station.

The staff was extremely helpful with everything. They even changed my room from smoking to non-smoking, due to the fact that the app doesn’t give you that option, when you book your room.

We just stayed overnight so the location was great for seeing the sights downtown. We left our luggage at the desk early in the day before check-in. There is air-conditioning in the room but you can’t control the temperature, it just goes from low to high on a dial. Not sure how that would work if it was really hot outside. Our last experience with this, in a different APA hotel, did not work well!

Good in all respects for the price
One night only but comfortable. Excellent breakfast included in price. One of the best of our trip. Quite a good location, 1 block off the main shopping street.
