We recently stayed here for two nights with our 8 yr old. Convenient walk from Amsterdam Central. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was that the mattresses were a bit on the soft and lumpy side. After two full days of walking and seeing the sites we needed more support.

Never have I been in a room so small. It felt like a prison cell or a rehab. Two small pillows, no sheet, just a quilt, there was no place to put luggage, the entry door could not be opened all the way because it hit the bed and the bathroom door blocked the entry door. You could barely fit in the elevator. There was painted over water damage on the ceiling and wall. HORRIFIC! kudos on angling the camera shots - TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION. STAY AWAY

Cosy but need improvement on cleanliness
It is a nice cosy hotel. We got ourselves a triple room but the shower room has a pee odour when we arrived. Location is great very near to train station and shopping street.

The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early and also stored our luggage in a safe area after check out. The buffet continental breakfast was fresh and plenty to chose from.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Only negative is the ultra soft mattresses. It was like a soft sponge. Rooms aren't huge but good enough to get back from a long day out to relax. Breakfast was basic but adequate.

There was condensation running down the back wall making the beds wet and mould growing behind the beds, which was a shame as everything else was excellent. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you, the room was clean and it’s well located by central station. The only thing that made the wet wall worst was when we reported it to reception in check out they were aware of it and said someone was coming today to have a look at it.

It was a decent location but a bit far from the tram/subway. The room was quite small but clean. There were some good restaurants fairly close. There was air conditioning which worked well as it was a bit noisy when the window was open.

The WiFi signal was very strong with bandwidth exceeding 150 mbps consisently. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well. What I didn’t really like was 1) The shower size was extremely small and only partially covered by partition (it does not wrap around so there’s no enclosure, causing water to splash out while showering. 2) Our room was on the street side. This street in general was very noisy from passing cars and human voices from the street. Hence, if you’re a light sleeper, be sure to ask for a quiet room not facing the street. Also, Expedia mentioned I should have received a welcome gift (e.g. bottled water for each guest. Yet, staff refused to issue one. No big deal, I just went to the supermarket anyways for water. Other than that, all else was very good.

Well managed hotel close to Amsterdam Centrale
It's a boutique hotel. Very personalized and respond quickly with few minor issues. Good location, only 10 minutes walking distance from Centrale Station. Fitting us well since we'd to catch the very early train to Paris. Highly recommended for anyone planning to have short stay in Amsterdam and connecting to other countries by train.

Out side noise
Was a Friday night, lots of outside and even inside noise from people talking and partying. Would stay there again but not on a Friday- Saturday. Room was small. Bathroom was large compared to other bathrooms at other hotels.

The room was advertised at twenty square meters and the first night our pretty broken room was barely fourteen. We were upgraded to a bigger room for the second night and it was around 16 square metres. Breakfast facilities minuscule and breakfast limited. The most expensive hotel room in the world that we have ever stayed in with the poorest facilities. However lovely staff and very central
