Find All-inclusive Hotel in Agios Ioannis

"We usually don't do all-inclusive holidays, so this was our first experience in a long time, and we were thoroughly impressed. The resort exceeded our expectations, providing a clean and spacious beach with plenty of free loungers and a great selection of water sports. The four pools were well-maintained, with friendly staff at the pool bar enhancing our enjoyment. We stayed in a bungalow that was well decorated and very comfortable. Dining options were excellent, with an Italian restaurant open for dinner by reservation and the Taverna available for both lunch and dinner. The Taverna's Sunday barbecue featuring delicious grilled meats was a highlight. The main restaurant offered a fantastic variety of Cretan and international cuisine. The spa services, including a facial and massage, were wonderful, and Erica was especially helpful in providing treatment information. The general manager was frequently visible, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service and improvement. Right outside the resort, we found numerous shops and restaurants, creating a friendly atmosphere. We also enjoyed a well-organized trip to Heraklion and the Palace of Knossos, complete with earpieces to hear our knowledgeable guide. Overall, Agapi Beach Resort feels like a little village, perfect for families and those seeking a relaxing getaway. We left with great memories and a desire to return."

"1st. time in this property. Check in process as usual. Waiting on line, due to lack of staff, to many guests. I can not complain to much. If you need beach towels, it is 20 Euros/each deposit, cash, however there is an ATM outside/for a fee off course. (Shame can not charge the room for that). Nice, friendly staff all over, clean facilities and room. Oh. The pools are closing early. To the beach you have to across a small road, but not a lot of traffic. The beach itself has rocks, so if you want to enjoy send, you have to go somewhere else. Restaurants, need to make reservations on time ( at least two days in advance). But there is a buffet style ( no res. needed). Property has two bars, one inside and one near the pool. If you want you can snack, there is a snack bar. Parking lot is on the smaller side, and the local car rental company taking up places with cars. "

"This was a 1 night stay prior to a longer booking, in a basic room. I was also here last year. Don’t be scared of a solo trip, the people are fantastic and you will be made to feel very welcome and not alone. The guests are hit and miss, some are a bit rowdy, some doing photo shoots the whole time but it’s easy to find some quiet space. Most are couples in their 30s. The rooms are soundproofed, I stayed on a top floor and couldn’t hear any neighbours which was a relief, food is fantastic but large portions. All inclusive is a must so that you can relax and let the wonderful people bring you drinks and snacks. I had a wonderful massage to start my trip, and a meal in the lovely Greek restaurant. Outside gym has some really cool equipment. I think the resort is non smoking, which is a relief as many Greek people smoke (there are mostly English people here), there are a lot of vapers. I travel to 5 star hotels for work, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff here, they are without exception friendly and helpful and in a resort like this, they make the difference between a 5 star trip and a less decent holiday. I will definitely return next year. I also stayed in the grand bungalow which was easily the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I’d advise anyone to book a swim up room at least, to avoid sunbed wars at the pool. "
