I would recommend staying here as it is close to the market and local attractions. "Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "

Bush Babies are so adorably cute. They remind me of Australian possums, but are actually a type of lemur. They also live in cities and like to jump onto the tin roofs and then climb into the ceiling. They sound like babies screaming when they call, hence the name. Their fur is super soft, even if it is covered in their own urine... Cheetah's Rock is a refuge for these and many other critters. It is only open 3 afternoons a week, so the animals are not stressed. You are given a tiny amount of food to feed them. Everyone sits around the edge of their enclosure, so they come to you. They jump from person to person and interact as they want to. They can remove themselves from the area if they are stressed, afraid or just over it.

"We are a retired couple from Australia cycling the world on bicycles. This hotel was simply amazing! The staff so welcoming, the room had the best view ever being right on the beach, the food and service was top notch. And the price was very affordable. A hidden gem in paradise and not over run by Europeans either like many of the hotels we’ve stayed at. Highly recommend! "
