I would definitely recommend going to the St. Regis for drinks and sit by the big fire. would NOT recommend going to The Little Nell - I felt like I was back in Los Angeles...why would I want that in the mountains?

"Super convenient location to Ajax Gondola and Aspen restaurants & shops. We were in the basement unit and the footsteps above us were pretty loud on the ceiling. It was only a problem while we were sleeping. All beds & even the sofa bed mattress were comfortable."

Very costly and unless you have a substantial budget, would not recommend for families. Also, even the locals are upset with the overgrowth and commercialization of what once was a quaint town. EVERYTHING is monetized, right down to parking.
