"Good location and friendly staff. The room had the basic necessities like kitchen utensils and towels. Spacious room but a bit dated. The shower was a little temperamental, you either got ice cold or boiling hot water. All in all, it was a good stay."

Hokitika Gorge was beautiful, nice that glow worm viewing was free, enjoyed seeing the beach & glass studio, people were friendly, cute town, Stumpers Restaurant was good!

Nice area, we probably should have had another night to see more of the surrounding area. It looked like a number of interesting things were close by, but out of town.
