The lobby and hotel space smelled of marijuana smoke, which was surprising given the nonsmoking rooms and space, but the room itself we ended up in had very clean air.
However, the first room we were given had a small cockroach in the bathroom. After returning to the front desk, the staff very kindly assigned us a new room where we found a very large cockroach in the bed, and the bed had some questionable stains on it. We returned to the front desk again and they then moved us to a room in the opposite wing of the hotel. The room we ended up in was significantly cleaner and very cozy.
I imagine that we caught this location on an off evening, and were initially given rooms in a side of the hotel with more lackluster cleaning staff. I won’t be judging the whole hotel based on this experience.
Overall, for a late night stop while traveling a good fit.
