Had a great stay at this hotel. Good location, good value. Pros : great location for walking, landmarks and public transport. Security at door so felt safe and that not anybody could walk in. Hip vibe and great decor. Big wardrobe and drawer space too. As travelling for 5 nights from the UK, this was great. Cons : our balcony room was on the 3rd floor - directly next to a communal terrace for the surrounding apartments, meaning loud parties and noise on Thu/Fri/Sat nights - we expected this room type would be on a higher floor. Door/windows were not soundproof. Nightclub (for residents and general public) on 15th floor - we didn’t know this when booking so this meant noisy and lots of people milling around. Staff at concierge were friendly, but service was slightly slow.

The hotel staff was amazing. Except a night time doorman harassed me - he acted like a power tripping night club bouncer because guess what? There’s a very loud nightclub inside, so it’s just Oontz Oontz with the DJ dropping the bass in my room all night over the weekend – which I didn’t know. And I was jet lagged. The shower turned cold if the room next to me showered. The in-room coffee machine only had decaf. Was not the best experience. But again, the front desk staff were excellent, and helpful. But I can’t stay there again.

I have stayed at Indigo on several occasions and have always enjoyed the convenient location to restaurants, public transportation and coffee shops. While the hotel is clean and very decent, the bar/nightclub that occupied the 15th floor has now taken over the 14th floor also. The noise level is completely beyond the pale. The music and partying goes until 4 am (when the club closes) and you can hear the noise as if it’s in the hallway. You should consider the noise when booking a stay at the Indigo, especially on weekends. I spoke with a manager at 11:20 pm on my last night as the noise was untenable. The manager politely stopped me while I was explaining the situation and playing a recording I took from behind my closed door as she was all too familiar with the situation. My room was moved to the 21st floor at 11:30 pm. I was moved to a lovely suite with a patio and spectacular views. Unfortunately, I got to the room at 11:30 and checked out at 9:00 am. I was VERY annoyed when I contacted the hotel the next day and was offered a measly $80 to compensate me. I found that insulting! Eventually, I got a credit for the one miserable night! You have been warned!
