"The property is the finest in Samoa! The views were incredible. The beach and pool were perfect for keeping cool. The food was good, I didn’t get sick at all (I’m sensitive tummy). The activity boys were fantastic! I can’t compliment these guys enough! My husband got to cook on the imu and eat the delicious food! We made lava lava and did a snot tour. They have many options. The massage was the best we’ve ever had, 90 minutes and we felt like we were refreshed!"

"The receptionist was very welcoming. The room was basic, had air conditioning. Breakfast was included. They had a pool. I didn’t like that they didn’t clean the rooms every day, no shampoo. They didn’t always have the cushions out in the pool area which made it uncomfortable to sit there. When asking the staff for advice regarding lunch options, they couldn’t help us. "

"We did have a silent night until the cleaners make noises but we told them it’s too noises outside while we try to take a nap but they answered back with nonsense behavior but my husband told her that he will inform the manager but she said go ahead. Poor service and unpleasant people need to hired people who know how to create people and welcome them with warmth welcome. But I hope this place will be better next time. "

"This was delightful hotel, a bit quirky and out of the way, but the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and food tasty. The whole place could do with a bit of TLC and the menu updated as several choices were unavailable all week. "Stayed in a beach Fales and was amazing. Right on the beach the sea underneath us at high tide. Back to basics loved the experience glamping the Samoan way. Star gazing and listening to the waves at night. Beautiful sunrise in the morning and watching the wildlife wake up. Good amenities and food was sort of ok. Would definitely recommend staying here on the beach. "

"Chose this hotel for an overnight stay for a cheap price. Needed two rooms. It was totally fine for short and cheap stay. Only problem was no hot water in either room. Luckily no one really minded since you are in Samoa, but I really need a warm shower… it was very cold. "

"Great location for waves/ winds during October. You ca use the families boat for going to surf spots or arrange a pick up with the other surf guides who are near bye. William has the surfing bug and is keen to get out there with you. I had a great week, great adventure and lovely downntime. Which is what this Dad who had a week to him self needed. "The staff as always were Super friendly. This is the 2nd stay me and my family have had here. And they never disappoint. It was unfortunate our original room wasn’t available due to renovations. I did read some reviews before booking and was a bit hesitant but since it was only for one night, I thought what the heck. So glad we did, the property is slighty tired in places but really no need to be concerned unless you are a total whinger with a zero factor life. When in Samoa again I will book again at the Tanoa.
